Thanks. RBC seems to have something that allows transfer before arrival but maybe it's only available to intending arrivals from specific countries. DISCLAIMER: I've not tried it.

This is actually a new one from RBC, and it’s intended for those that are ready to land ( with immigration documents). You can do wire transfer but you can’t take anything out till you visit the bank in person to activate the account. You have to activate the account within 90 days.

what is your ielts score Do you have only bsc Its probably ineligible because your eligibility points is not up to 67/100 https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/federal-skilled-workers/six-selection-factors-federal-skilled-workers.html

My minimum score for IELTS is 6.0 in listening....I've got an MSc which was evaluated by WES as an equivalent to Canadian masters.

it might be settlement funds, hours entered in noc. Retry and make sure your eligibility is above 67 too in the above link.

By settlement fund I guess you mean fund that I will bring to Canada right?....I input $30,000, which i think is sufficient. For my hour in NOC, I inputted 40hrs,, sufficient also i suppose. I have created 3 profiles already and still ineligible...could it be technical ish

I will retry again..Thanks

Try removing the comma from your settlement funds.
Write it as 30000 let's see if that works.

Hello. Can I be nominated for PNP if my CRS score is 489? Is there a maximum CRS score being targeted?

Allegory:
Hi guys, please I worked in a company that deals with all kinds of investments, they also give out loans, but on their websites and letterheaded documents they only talk about stockbroking and call themselves a stockbroking company and I was hired as an investment officer. I worked in the marketing department which was mainly responsible for marketing the loans but this isn't made very clear for an outsider looking in because back then they were still planning to open a different arm solely for the loans so it wasn't very official as at the time. I'm concerned about submitting documents talking about loans in a company where the letterheaded papers and websites talk about just stockbroking. Do I need to explain this in the work reference or write a separate letter explaining it or just leave it alone.

Also just to mention, a couple of months after I left, they finally created and registered the loan arm of the company, though there is no website for it but there are letterheaded papers and bosses on linkedin

#PersonalOpinion......not sure this is a big deal. The reference letter is from the company and regardless of stockbroking in their name on the letterhead, if they gave loans and you performed that function and they confirm that in the reference letter, no issues. Besides, margin lending is part of the suite of stockbroking products as far as I know. Just be 100% sure your JD matches your chosen NOC.

If it really bothers you though, maybe ask the new subsidiary to provide your ref letter. You can update your profile to "ABC Loans formerly part of ABC stockbroking".

you cant open a profile if you are not eligible for express entry, Manitoba and Saskatchewan have the option of doing non express entry pnp . Its paper based and takes a lot of time and you must meet the points requirements for thee pnp and applicable noc. My advice to you is go and redo your ielts

pnp depend sometimes on crs and noc. For Ontario they usually start a point below last crs. No point in them going for people with higher scores as you will reject them as soon as you get federal ita.

For anyone interested, I finished my ACCA diploma in 3 weeks. Note that this requires a lot of focus and determination.

I posted a short guide including costs on how to achieve this: https://www.antinormal.org/2021/08/10/how-i-got-the-acca-diploma-in-accounting-and-business-in-3-weeks/

So if you're on the fence, I would say go for it!
