Why Modakeke ? I have the feeling that this killing might not be from herdsmen. Some people can do anything to create crisis. The choice of Modakeke is very suspicious. Modakeke / Ife axis close to OAU has been an area that has witnessed serious riots before. I suspect foul play. Herdsmen will not kill five people going to farm in that area. Kidnapping is possible. I am not sure there had been land tussle or crisis between the people and the Fulanis in that area.
