You know what oil producing is? Are you alright at all, Kogi state wey no get structural setting for hydrocarbon, if they share proceeds from just three oil Wells for life Kogi still won't hit oil producing status. No man alive will explore for oil in Kogi, they don't have the sweet spot. Do you understand or should I explain further cus I have plenty to say seunmsg: 16 Likes |

It's easier for a cow to pass through the eyes of a needle than for Kogi to hit oil producing status. Meanwhile Anambra will have more explorations, are you ok or should I explain seunmsg: 16 Likes |

Furious1: You’re talking absolute rubbish as usual. Go back to the letter you and your ilks are celebrating. Kogi for now is an oil producing state because it will be getting 50% of the 13% derivation from Anambra River well 1,2 and 3 until the final boundary delineation is done. It is what it is irrespective of how you feel about it. 8 Likes 1 Share |

I can't argue with you Sha. In your mind you think 50% from just 3oil Wells makes you oil producing. Wells they'll still finally remove Kogi from. Anyways the point is 3 Wells don't mean sh*t some of you have not seen oil Wells before, maybe you think all Wells are equal, you're wrong my guy, those Wells will dry up and they'll need to explore for more, that's when you'll realize you got nothing. And btw Before Anambra became oil producing them don de make money from oil, just cus you're making money temporarily from three Wells you think you have oil seunmsg: 15 Likes |

Blue3k:no sir, I think there's quota for a State to be recognized as an Oil producing state. If your production does not meet that quota you can not be adjudged as a producing state. Anambra state has been producing Oil since over 2015 or thereabout, but wasn't included because they weren't meeting that qouta apparently due to the dispute with kogi, or due to the fact that other Wells as mentioned above hasn't been fully developed and accredited. Remember the said 3 oil Wells being disputed, is to be shared between Anambra and kogi, therefore, the kogi's percentage acruage of the total generated revenue of those 3 disputed Oil Wells, wouldn't be enough to meet the qouta. 20 Likes |

This is how it works, the Wells will deplete and then you'll cough out oil fields in Kogi state where they'll explore for more oil or your oil era is over. Tik tok seunmsg: 6 Likes |

jimyjames: The steps simply weren't followed that's why nothing has been done. There's no legal means to deny the referendum once the conditions are met. If they did there would be something said and done by all your representatives. What are the names of the representatives who made the request and what dates it happen? If they aren't the current ones why haven't they said anything? I really doubt step A even happened. |

When will Yorubas wake up and realize that SW deserves more than it currently receives.. There are oil companies and oil fields in Lagos, Ogun, Osun but only Ondo is recognised as oil producing in SW. The 5 SE states combined fits into Oyo state yet 3 out of the 5 now enjoy 13% derivation for oil producing states while big for nothing SW looks on. What is really going on with Yoruba leaders? We're just shortchanging ourselves in everything including jobs and public offices in our region. You want to please others while you displease yourself and people. They will continue to look while they carve out 2 to 3 more states for SE and SW gets nothing. Why are we so docile in the West?? So annoying and painful. 11 Likes 1 Share |
