You are right because of my nature and the way I dress and disguise only people that know me on personal level know that I just came into the country. Simple car ( but most have ac 247) unless I am going to village event in that case I have to dress flashy and go with flashy so as to show them village people say their juju no work grin grin

I am on simple short most times and pans slippers. No bling bling but once oyibo join body you don cast be that na security dey follow body. I no trust boys ooh.

But guy Naija sweet ooh when you hold bar to burn. I pity boys wey get uni girl friend una girl friend don suffer for obodo oyibo guys hand ooh grin if you know you know grin grin

3k euro is less than 2m. come on, bros bills might be high ooh but you will be surprised how much boys have accumulated over the years.

For people that have not established in europe you might be right but for guys that have established with partners that are working. Once you finish building house for naija guy savings go just dey grow. Imagine family with combine income after tax of say 6k to 7k euros. They pay 1k 2h for mortgage, 3h for utilities and 5h for groceries a month, how much you think remain? Nigerian couples don't usually eat outside.

Wetin dey chop our savings those with oyibo na holiday because we must go on summer holiday and frequent visits to restaurants and it does not come cheap.

In fact I forgot to add that you will get your 13th month salary, tax return and holiday pay. grin grin grin grin grin

I am in Austria. Every country has it's pros and cons. I came as a student. I have €13,000 as prove of fund before anything. I advise you to check yourself very well before make a journey in any country. No country is easy bro. If Nigeria is better tomorrow, 99% of guys outside will chose to come back. You will not understand until you come. Don't allow any agent to decive you. To survive in Nigeria is not easy likewise abroad. If you are not financially efficient, I will advise you to hold on to what you are doing in Nigeria
This should be written in gold, but trust some to still go ahead and learn bitterly.

My youngest blood came around feb, dude was making transactions of at least 50-100k per day or are you saying he should start buying rice and be cooking. Car fueling, hotels, outings etc I believe more than 2m left him and that's excluding what he spent on his building project.

Your question is valid and the simple truth is this, most don't have it because of so many factors like low income + recurring monthly bills = 0 savings.

Togo is better than Nigeria.

Where you wan compare?

Togo has steady power.
Things are pretty cheap there too.

You can get a chicken limb for as low as a 100 CFA.

Haba..no compare country with village na.

So what are you still doing here?

Why have you not relocated to Togo?!

I wonder why you guys think N2m is expensive. If it is for you. It might not be for another. Can we stop reviewing people based on our lenses. If you cannot afford it don't insult someone who can.

It seems you don't understand English language. Why not re-read my post again and again and have a better comprehension. Am I holding you down not to travel? I am in possession of your international passport? Am I the one holding your visa to abroad. I just stipulated what people should equip themselves with before making the journey. If you know you are financially well to do and you feel abroad is where is your survival, brother you are welcome to abroad. There is no place in my post I discourage anyone from coming abroad. Mind you, I have been to Asia country and now I am in Europe for Studies. If you have means to be in any country, the air is open to fly. I will always repeat, don't travel unprepared and that is just the summary of my write up.
your last sentence would have been better initially.

Very possible if you are a kid traveling to Nigeria in the company of your parent's or an adult that has money saved up in his or her Nigerian bank account back home then this scenario makes it very possibly okay to visit Nigeria with just $200.

The guy is adult.
He stayed with family member when he came home.

He told his parents before coming that he was not coming with money for them.
They were happy to see him.

When he saw his childhood friends when he visited his parents house, he led them to the bar and declared one bottle each for them. They never saw him again.

Back in the day, my sister give me Nick name, send me money, because I thought everything was easy in Yankee.

Don't get me wrong, America is very beautiful and over mature than Nigeria in many ways, no be small thing. Seeing most parts of America, will make you know that serious mathematicians put their theories to practice there. But America is also more gangsta than Nigeria, that part I been no know. It is a struggle to survive there.

I used to call my sisters, my aunties, or my bros when they travel, na so me and my younger bro, go just dey mark them without reason. It took me to go spend 2 years there, for my perspective to reset.

Is not like there are jobs everywhere, but there are jobs. Imagine you get a job, but it cant pay for your rent (room in a house, not even the whole apartment); immigrants from places like Europe, and rich middle east places, can just pick up their small bag and go back to their country when they feel overwhelmed. But Africans cannot try that, and the multitude of beggars back home no go gree you live and survive.

I also blame some people over there(abroad), they like to show off and front because that is their only way of showing gratitude. Another thing is that, home based people are so disillusioned that they see how fresh or see your skin looking more tender, then they assume success; but the truth is that, when you go to any place with electricity and running water, your skin will improve than when in Nigeria. Even people that go to Gabon, have nice skin.

Bottom line is that Nigerians back home need to be educated and be sensitive to people abroad, it is not easy, many sleepless nights, too much pressure to help when you haven't helped yourself or your family, hence, the criminality that people embrace. It is a struggle. People in Nigeria need to understand the struggle, these working countries, don't plan for you to come and be taking all their money back to your country. It is set up to have you work, make just enough, then turn around and pay them taxes and other bills.

I remember a friend of mine that went to Yankee, died one day immediately he got to work. He was doing any job he can find, so that he could pay some bills and try to help people back home. After he died, the people he was always giving money, started looking for who to leach on.

The moral of the experience, are numerous. But remember, everybody wey dey live for lekki, no dey enjoy. Some people dey struggle for real, and am not even talking gateman and cleaners there.

All that glitters is not gold.

Togo is a desperately poor country with a GDP of less than $1k. Steady power that less than half of the country have access to. We Nigerians have no pride nor belief in our country! Comparing a country of 7M to Nigeria!

It all depends on ones taste
My planned visit next year is already on a budget of 500-600k (accommodation, feeding, transport included) for 30days

No point staying in 4star or 5star hotel who am i impressing and i never forget say village people don't sleep

Airbnb - 150k - 200k (30days) its all about negotiation and not going for the busy environment, lot of Airbnb that are way better and cheaper are in other state, Na people know wetin dey make dem burn money for Lagos and Abuja.
Feeding - 150k, will buy most items, and eat out only if needs be. i might not do the cooking people will do
Transport - 100k, Prolly rent a car, and if using Uber, that's def enough for a month, when no be say person wan dey waka up and down, btw am the indoor person.
Drinks / Smoke - 100k. 1 bag of loud go do 2weeks that's (60K for 2bag) for 4weeks, except the price don increase, 40k for drinks, don't worry i only take LORDS dry gin.
Remaining 100k will be for tips and unforeseen circumstances.

600k well spent for a month, might be lesser but that's the max..
No Escort mentioned, ion need one, its just to make calls and give transport fare..

kalas

Why spend 2m when i will still go back to work and recover the amount spent.
There's nothing like free money, you go still work for am back, except you don't have plans or ongoing projects
