PDP is a dead party quite alright.. but North plays smart politics. Their move is to support a Northerner (say Atiku) to take over in 2023 even if means working against APC.

The masterstroke delivered by Akeredolu and the Southern governors forum on presidency moving to South regardless of party has made them jittery and in panic mode. How I wish a Southerner like Buhari can win and then treat them the way the present administration is treating South. Indeed 2023 will decide the way forward for this country.

The media has turned everybody from the three northern zones as Fulani. Therefore for every three appointments, they want to see one Yoruba, one IBO and one Fulani. Is that correct by their hypothesis? No.

The correct ratio is one to each zone which Buhari perfectly follows. But the media will present it to a typical Yoruba and IBO person as 3:1:1 which means Hausa Fulani 3 , Yoruba 1 and IBO 1.

The presidency is rotated because of the lopsided political structure of Nigeria created by northern soldiers to favor north with 19 states, but 2 old southern regions have only 17 states.
Land mass is never used as yardstick to create states in a country formed by different regions.

Creating excess number of 19 states in the northern region tilted political power too much to the northern region. Rotation is the only way a southern presidential candidate can win presidential election in Nigeria, provided north is not supporting any northern presidential candidate.

A presidential candidate must win 25% of votes in 24 states before proclaimed winner.

North holds on to the non democratic, skewed and lopsided political structure it created through its soldiers and use the structure as tool for dictating to rest of Nigeria in Nigeria’s political process.
If southern people ask for political restructuring, northern people would ask southerners to come to the National Assembly for political restructuring, knowing full well that the National Assembly is overpopulated by northern legislators drawn from the excess number of states proliferated in the north.

I am telling you, even while 2007 election was zoned to the North a lot of Southerners contested against him in the general election.

PDP, APC and another party that seeks emerge winners have failed Nigeria. They work on our overstretched expectations. The present government is bad we endure hoping the next will be better, they come in and turn out to be worst. Greed is ingrained in our DNA that when we stumble on positions to distribute resources equitably, we suddenly feel smart by cornering it all to our private pockets. Even a common SUG president has such questionable integrity. Our best bet is to stop existing as a nation. Probably our collusion had bad people corrupting good people. Forget about what the northern governors are trying to show the south you can’t intimidate us, the APC ticket is going to the south, if it doesn’t, then APC will break up and become a dead party.
