OKOATA: I love pig meat and some people have been telling me I should stop eating it because it brings bad luck. Is this the reason why I should stop eating it because I don't care what ever they share with humans, the meat is sweet and I love it. 1 Like |

Hmmmm..... This life na wa ooo Nobody is talking about the recipient who despite being a brain-dead patient still has symptoms of kidney dysfunction. Which kind life that one come so? Could anyone have it worse than that? I pray for a miracle on her life. If not, may God bless the family abundantly for giving her for this experiment which could be the turning point on battling kidney disease. 2 Likes |

This is an incomplete report. I read this about 2 days ago. The detailed report mentioned the pig was a genetic modified pig. Pigs are used for trauma surgery training esp by the military cos pig shares similar organs with human. However, there is a hormone which always result to immediate rejection of pigs organ in human. So, they modified the gene of the pig in order to eradicate the hormone. This is what happened here. This will not affect the price of pig or pork. What is going to happen is that the special pig will be raised by big medical rands and not by ordinary farmers. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Every time na USA. It just looks as it God created a special kind of humans in that country. People say Nigerians are well educated, but you rarely hear news like this coming from Nigeria. We have electrical engineers, but Nigeria cannot boast of 4000 megawatts of power. It's high time we started questioning what we learn in this part of the world. |

ExAngel007:. When I think about medical advances in the modern medicine in the western world I wonder if African universities are making progress apart from deriving baseless satisfaction from the university rankings every year. All Covid vacines are from abroad like Oxford universities. Now a breakthrough in the renal treatment. African universities including Nigeria only have egg heads without motivation and modern facilities. Our leaders are not bothered because they go abroad for treatment. What a pity ? What a nation? What a continent? 1 Like |
