The problem with you guys is that you see tertiary education as an extension on secondary education. It is not. It was supposed to train adult on various disciplines to help provide practical solutions to problems of society. A university student is according all the rights of an adult. That's why in some countries you need to be an adult (or almost an adult) before you are admitted.
