George Weah, President of Liberia, who won the World Footballer , European Footballer (Ballon D’or) and African footballer could not renovate one of their stadia to FIFA standard.
There are many important things to attend to than building or renovating stadia

I'm tired of watching Super Eagles match honestly. They don't inspire any confidence.. No pattern of play, all we just hope for is goal should enter one way or the other.. anyhow yaga yaga.. Rohr is outdated tactically.. He should be doing way better with the crop of players we have nailing first team spots for their various clubsides all around the world. But baba is old and outdated, yet the NFF are loving what he is doing..

Super Eagles are guests to Liberia this Saturday in the penultimate match of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifier group stages at the Grand Stade de Tanger in Tangier.

Nigeria is in pole position to book a place in the final round of qualifiers but will have to work for it when the players take to the pitch tomorrow.

For the hosts, Liberia, while they find themselves rock-bottom in Group C, they will be looking to dent Super Eagles chances at home.

Here's everything you need to know about the game against the Lone Stars.

How To Watch and Time of The Match

This particular fixture is scheduled for 7PM Nigerian time.

The game between the Super Eagles and their hosts, the Lone Stars, will be live on the NFF TV.

You can also go to the Super Eagles Facebook account for the build up and live coverage.

Team News
Gernot Rohr will have a full complement of his team to choose as he is currently spoilt for choice with all invited players but John Noble available.

Things have gone quite well in camp in terms of fitness with all players expected to be fit and ready for the game as there are no reports of injuries at the moment.

The home side (Liberia) has a very strong squad led by youngster, Allen Njie, 22, the FC Aarau of Switzerland midfielder, and Oscar Dorley of Slavia Prague.

Liberia will also have a full squad of fit players.

Form Guide
Super Eagles made a very strong start to the World qualifiers after a 2-0 win over Saturday's hosts in the reverse fixture played in Lagos back in September.

Leicester City forward, Kelechi Iheanacho, was the hero that day as the 'senior man' scored both goals.

They followed it up with a 2-1 win over Cape Verde away from home four days later before a shock defeat to Central African Republic in Lagos seemed to threaten their place.

However, the Eagles made a swift return to winning ways as Leon Balogun and Victor Osimhen ensured there were no problems in the second leg against CAR in another away win.

That result preserved Nigeria's impeccable away record in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers as the Super Eagles have now gone 17 years without defeat away in the WCQ.

For the hosts Liberia, they have been shaky from the start, losing 2-0 to Nigeria in their opening match.

Peter Butler's Lone Stars made a quick return to winning ways in their next game against CAR, a 1-0 win at home but soon found themselves rooted to the foot of the group after successive defeats to Cape Verde in their subsequent matches.

Liberia has lost four of their last five matches in all competitions with their only win in that time coming against Central African Republic on matchday 2.

Nevertheless, the Stars may have struggled but have a decent record at home.

They have won four of five matches and remain unbeaten in seven (7) of their last eight (cool matches at home.

Head to Head
When these two step on the Stade de Tanger pitch tomorrow, it will be for the sixth time ever. The first meeting between them was back on July 9, 2000.

Since then, both countries have met four times with Nigeria coming out on top with three wins.

In all, the previous five matches have seen three wins in favour of Nigeria compared to Liberia's one, while the other game ended in a 2-2 draw.

Odion Ighalo is back with the team after coming out of retirement and could make his first appearance for the Super Eagles in over two years.

The 32-year-old has been in superb form for his Saudi Arabian club Al Shabab, scoring 9 goals in 10 starts, which prompted his recall to the team by Rohr.

His return has rightly generated a lot of debates and Rohr's doubters will be keeping a close watch on this one to see how it pans out during the international break.

Ahmed Musa could become Nigeria's most capped player should he play at any time in Saturday.

The skipper, known as "Governor" could play his 102nd match for the country, which would see him leapfrog the duo of Joseph Yobo and Vincent Enyeama to become Nigeria's most capped player ever.

Musa made his 101st appearance for the Super Eagles in that 2-0 win in Cameroon.

Possible Line Ups
Sanogo; Dweh, Maccornell, Balde; Macauley, Njie, Hellberg, Dorley; Kamara, Sherman, Kosiah

Okoye; Sanusi, Balogun, Troost-Ekong, Aina; Onyeka, Ndidi, Iwobi; Musa, Iheanacho, Osimhen

Prediction
While Liberia's Lone Stars are a hard nut to crack at home, their recent form in all competitions has been nothing to write home about.

I will favour the Super Eagles, who have averaged at least two goals in their travels so far, to take this one, unbeaten away from home in this qualifying round and yet to taste defeat in 17 years.

FT: Liberia 1-2 Nigeria
