I once experienced this about ten years back. Was living with my girlfriend (now wife) then. We decided to rearrange my one room apartment by changing position of things. Where I chose to change the bed position to was rejected by madam and after light argument, I allowed her have her way. Few days later, found a similar bullet to what the OP posted on the floor right where I wanted the bed to be. I looked up and saw the hole on the zinc and ceiling. Maybe na another story e for be.

Turned out it was the bullet shot from the gun of a student that had a quarrel with other guys who wanted to oppress him because they where more in number. The guy released a shot to the air and challenged the guys to come closer. This happened at around 10pm at night. We could hear the fracas from my room but we never knew the bullet would come visiting. Ekpoma that year Sha!

It is obvious you are not thinking well, what does this have to do with some religious stunt you have seen Somewhere.

I know someone that die from the same situation the OP described. This one police was chasing a car around the area, shooting sporadically. Bullet pierced through the roof and hit her on her bed.

In Onitsha, a bullet once hit a woman in front of me from no where on the head while arranging her wares on the street, the force of the bullet wasn't much so she pulled it out with her hand before going to a hospital. I dont think that guy was wrong to quote you, But if we take a good look at the trajectory, its quite a strange one, bullet falling from the sky would be pulled down by the force of gravity, if you did physics =10g.Thats the force attributed to a free falling body.So the Only way a bullet will fall from the sky unto your roof is if it has been fired upwards. Now I find it hard to believe that that said bullet will have the force to pierce your roof, ceiling at same time if its free falling, however if its traveling at its fired velocity its direction of travel will be Horizontal. This in terms will not fall down into ur house, it will jus pass fru.So as you see,its a tough one to call.

Thank God for your dad's life. Same happened to a friend's husband while having his devotion months back very early in the morning. The bullet pierced the roof and ceiling and landed on the table beside his bible. The hole is still in the ceiling till date
