Hello gurus in the house,

Please I need your advice. I saw a sponsored ads on Facebook about Canada Jobs. It also captioned that the company will sponsor the visa. I picked the number and chatted on WhatsApp. I was asked to send my CV to their email and after 24hours, I was mailed that my qualifications met their requirements. I was offered job as a Drill Engineer for the Oil and gas company. I was later sent Temporary Residence Visa Form to fill as well as Labour Market Impact Assessment(LMIA) form and Job agreement letter(that have in it that I will be responsible for the biometrics fee while other cost till arrival will be handled by the company). I filled and signed where necessary and returned them with my International passport as requested.

After few days, I was mailed to send the LMIA , Visa Form and my International passport to the lagos embassy of Canada through the email they gave (lagos@vfsglobal.g-c.online, so as to book my biometrics. I did as instructed and after few hours, got a mail from the said lagos embassy mail that my documents have been reviewed and i should proceed to pay for my biometrics through the payment link supplied so I can be given date for the biometrics. The biometrics fee is $116 CAD and processing fee is $91 CAD, bringing total to $207 CAD which amounted to #66,549.89 or pay same into one CEDI SIGNAL ZENITH BANK account and send receipt to them.

I am confused as to being real or not which is the reason I seek your genuine and honest advice.

Thanks.

You have posted this in almost all Canadian threads that I can possibly think of and in all threads you have been told it's a scam. What else do you want to hear kwanu? You're looking for the glimpse of hope where someone tells you oh no it is not a scam? Awake from thy slumber and find a way to retrieve your passport if you gave them the original copy. Please stop spamming threads with the same message.

Hello,

I currently have some "past" questions which are extremely useful for TEF especially for CO and CE. People who have used it have gone to have C1 and C2 in their exam.

You can send a pm or call me on 09121915294

You need to transmit...once done the amber "updated" changes to "transmitted"and in a few hours CRS should reflect the update.

You can calculate your CRS score prior to changing your profile though, look through page 1 of the main EE FSW thread.

What change were you expecting and what got reflected ?

Thank you for your feedback,
I actually wanted to modify my application to fit in a PNP bracket but did not work. I can only get the desired score if I temporarily remove accompanying spouse, whereas that part is not clickable, just like my name and my DOB are not.
Do you have any clue please?

Thanks

Good evening seniors. Thanks for all you’ve been doing. It’s highly appreciated. Would anyone be kind enough to vet my fait divers and letters? I would really appreciate the gesture. Thanks.

Salut tout le monde!!! It's been a long time that i've been on this thread. The wait for FSW draws has been really frustrating and it's also very discouraging that I've been in the pool since 2019 and in June 2021, I finally achieved 506 score thanks to French.
In year 2023, my French exam will expire and we still don't know if there will be an FSW draw before then. I haven't even gotten PNP because my score is "too high".

The worst part is that IRCC just released a statement saying that they don't plan on doing FSW draws anytime soon and that the processing time for PPR is now about 36 months!!! I can't waste 3 more years of my life waiting for them.

So, I've decided to take the school route. I will apply to schools in Canada and hopefully, I can get admission for September 2022 resumption.
Although, I don't regret learning French & writing TCF because this is a skill that I will have forever & ever. It's just a very depressing situation.
I wish everyone learning French good luck but if you can take the school route after writing TEF or TCF, please consider it because the IRCC backlog seems endless.

It depends on the state, fees differ by state. If it's lagos, check their instagram pages. Af_Lagos for Island and AF_ikeja for Ikeja. Ikeja fees are cheaper than Island fees.

0703 204 3178 This one is listed on google as the Ibadan number, you could try it first.

I am also very sad because of the news. I am trying to adjust my plans so that I can either emigrate to Canada or UK this year.

I went to Alliance Francaise towards the end of last year.
According to the receptionist, you'll pay 25k every month to attend the classes. You'll also buy some books before the beginning of each level (I think there are 3 or 4 levels).
If you're a beginner, I think you'll have to spend about 9 months on learning French. Then, spend extra 1 month or so to focus on the specific things you need for TCF or so.

The bolded is very true.

Have you tried simulating your score, like using TCF as first language, using one or two years of experience, Ontario should do their French program before March

While also trying Canada student visa, you can also try that of UK because Canada rejection rate is a bit high
Re: All TEF Candidates For Canada Immigration, Let's Meet Here! by cutebear: 11:12am On Jan 22, 2022
Yes I’ve done the simulation and I’ve played around with my scores. It doesn’t fall within the right score bracket.
Yes, I also plan on applying to some uk schools. All I know is that, I must sha go for my masters abroad this year. I can’t keep wasting my time in this country.
