The reason why America has not been toppled today is because the alternative is more dangerous. Russia and China should ask themselves, why do countries that border them that naturally should be close to them like to align with America and the west instead? Why? First, I think the US economy is the largest economy in the world by GDP, not China's economy.

The US economic and military might, together with that of it's allies is far greater than the economic and military strength of Russia and China combined.

Russia and China alliance is an alliance of convenience; Russia wants to have a sphere of influence over countries that were part of the former USSR (especially Ukraine and Poland) while China wants to take over Taiwan. The US and it's allies are preventing their plans from materializing.

But deep down, Russia has deep mistrust of the Chinese, especially because of Chinese reverse engineering of some Russia military technology.

However, no matter the alliance Russia and China forms, they will always be inferior to the US and it's allies for centuries to come!

The military build up is designed to pressure Ukraine not to attacking the pro-Russian separatists in Donetsk and Luhansk, which has been achieved. The separatists have seized the two Territories mentioned above. The military build up started when Ukraine attack the seperatists using the turkey drone.

USA don’t add Countries to NATO, it is the individual Countries that have to apply to join.

It has been Ukraine that has been delaying and her previous President did not want to join and the popular opinion in Ukraine then was to remain neutral and not to join.

However, that has changed recently because of Russia aggression at Ukraine border, more 50% in Ukraine now favors joining NATO and Ukraine have moved on to amend their Constitution to join NATO.

In Brussels in 2021, NATO says it will accept Ukraine and add them, once they officially request. The wait now is not from NATO but of Ukraine and the US have rejected Putin’s request to oppose the addition of Ukraine just as they oppose it.
