Oga's in the house. Please is it normal for one back tyre of a 4wd to be spinning when jacked up, while the other is on the ground. Was experiencing some serious vibration.

Okay.
It's clear now. No need for the pic.

I have had a similar experience before.
Confirmed!!! You have a leak somewhere. It is so small that it only leaks when hot and expanded. So, It is not easily noticed. But there's a small leak for sure. Either on the radiator, one of the hoses or the head gasket as mentioned.

Next time, park the car wait for about 10 to 15 mins then go inspect for the leak. Even a drop of water (coolant) seen is an indication. Take note of it.

Jamb Question!!.

First, what other issues are there with the car?
Is check engine light on? If yes, what codes are showing?
Are the fans always on?
4km/ltr is really poor and may be indicative of engine issues but honestly, more info is needed.

The check light is on. I have not scanned it because I also see it on in most similar models and mechanic says it doesn't matter.
Fan also runs always
Please help

Please help

1. The check engine light is not there for decoration. It is important and should not be simply ignored; especially at a time like this when you are trying to solve an issue. Go get it scanned.

2. Fan always running means engine will not get warm enough but will keep trying to, hence burning more fuel. Even at that, 4km/ltr is way too low for that car.

3. Fan running always means it has been wired directly (not good). Things in the engine bay have been tampered with. Take it to a professional shop to find out more. Needs to be physically inspected.

Also, take note, your odometer reading is in miles, not kilometers. You to calculate the km.

Kindly read my submission again. I was reporting different scenarios. For context, let me narrate it again.

I drive for one week without AC, everything is fine, coolant is normal, no issues.

I drive with AC and notices the coolant (reservoir) greatly diminished or totally disappeared but coolant in radiator is normal. I top up the reservoir. Puzzled, I move to the next experiment.

I drive with AC and immediately I park at the end of the day, I open the bonnet and check and see my coolant in the reservoir full but the following mornings I check and it's either gone or at the bottom. No leakage anywhere.

Then I also notice that if I stay long in traffic while AC is on, the car starts overheating, but when I'm in constant motion with the AC in operation, no overheating.

There is a leak in the system. It's either your engine is burning up the water through the head gasket or you have a tiny leak somewhere.
1. Do a head gasket test on your system to confirm its okay (there are several DIY methods on YouTube or better still visit a competent shop for it)

2. If you use a coolant, check for white marks around the cooling pipes and hose, radiator, water pump and radiator cap. And if you use water instead of coolant, check out for rust signs.

3. If the car only overheats while stationary and cools down when you drive around, check the following:
a. Radiator fins are not clogged.
b. Fans are blowing in the right direction and well enough. Run a live data to know at what temp your fan blows. Also check for high and low fan speed.
c. Check if your water pump is in good condition. Does not rattle or make any funny sound and does not leak.

4. Also check your thermostat if car is equipped with one.

5. Check for village people's touch.

LOL at village people. Thanks for the detailed solutions

Simple solution, someone jammed my front bumper and fender and I went to repair and spray. Radiator was clogged from swimming river Igboefon. They removed all the debris (didn't even use vulcanizer) and car is back to normal. AC works in traffic, no more hot air and disappearing coolant.

Thanks for the update.

So, fins were clogged.

My deduction........ Clogged fins prevented proper cooling. This caused the overheating and coolant expanded more than normal, putting extra pressure on the system.
This extra pressure caused slight leak from one of the joints/seals.
This extra pressure also caused more coolant to go into the reservoir (full) and probably overflow from there.

This, I assume is an American or EU Spec Kia Optima with the GDI engine. Your Engine is having a Knock Sensor Detection System showing excessive wear in the con rod, crankshaft, bearings, crankshaft journals or piston slap.

Check if the knock sensor harness has been or the sensor is bad, if all is okay, check ECM, if that's okay, e be like engine go come down sha. lipsrsealed lipsrsealed

He might need to replace the sensor to fix the issue. As over the time sensors gets old and stopped working. i personally used electronicx for buying tyre pressure sensors and a parking sensors for my BMW. Quality was good and they delivered with in 2 days. https://electronicx.de/

Good evening , my Honda Civic 02 has the D light blinking and sometimes gives a small "gbi" sound while driving. I scanned and got the following codes.

P0715 - input shaft (main shaft) speed censor failure

P0730 - Incorrect Gear ratio

kindly advise on how to solve this issue

Gazzuzz Good evening.
Okay, I'll go straight to it.
I'm going to explain what has been done to the car to paint a clearer picture and rule out areas already looked at.
My car is a Camry 2004 with 4 cylinders(i4)

The car has been having acceleration issues.

The prob became very noticeable when my fuel finished on the road.

Anytime I match d throttle pass 2000rpm is struggles to pass beyond that point. The engine makes a noise as though the exhaust has blown. I'll have to match d throttle to the end and hold on for some time before it will jerk and accelarte a slowly while making a loud rev noise.

I took d car to a mechanic when the car started making reving noises (like ur exhaust had blown) and was vibrating Eve when the car wasn't accelerating (When the ignition was on)

The tank was emptied and cleaned while a new fuel was added the problem persisted
The fuel pump was replaced with another but the prob persisted
The four spark plugs were changed, the problem persisted.

One faulty coil was changed, the car became much quieter (no more reving or vibrations) but the car still had acceleration issues.
Injector and nozzles were serviced, d problem still persisted.
O2 sensor/fuel air sensor was checked and nothing was wrong with it.

All these and the prob still persists.
The mechanic suggested that it's probably bad fuel again that I should burn it out and refill with a better one.

I'm tired.
Is there anything I'm missing or haven't checked. Pls suggestions.

They say na coil.
We buy coil.
After changing the coils it didn't get better. We come discover say the thing don mix oil and water. Na then the meco dey tell me say the block has broken when he open the engine, so he use something to gum it so I can manage it,say na the same place wey the water dey pass enter be that. Say na to buy new block.
I've already spent 140k like this.
Now there's an engine wey dey say he knock (corolla) say make I buy the block put am for cheaper. Do you guys think it can work? Why not park the car, save up money for a tokunbo engine, and save yourself all these stress and effortless spending.

Prnnzoil is okay for your Infiniti but it doesn’t match the same quality as Mobil 1.
I’m currently running Mobil 1 on my G35X and I won’t dare swap to Pennzoil. E get why
