Updated map of the Russian invasion on day 12. As you can see the way to split the country right in the middle from top to bottom is short. After Odessa will fall kiev will be the main place the Russian effort will be concentrated in. Make no mistake, Putin won’t stop until a change of regime will take place. The more stagnant his ground operation is, the more he will attack from the air. Yes, he lost quiet a few fighter jets and helicopters but he has a great number of them. The Ukrainian Air Force on the other hand is nearly gone: that’s why Zelenskyy is begging for a NATO enforced “no fly zone” or at least a supply of Russian made fighter jets for the Ukrainian pilots. The US is working on a deal to have Poland supply Ukraine with its old Russian made jets in return for US made F15s and F16s. Putin already said that any country that will supply jests to Ukraine will be considered at war with Russia. We are left with either WW or Ukrainian defeat. Two terrible options!

"Moscow is recruiting Syrians skilled in urban combat to fight in Ukraine as Russia’s invasion is poised to expand deeper into cities." This also happened during 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war when Turkey did same, treating Syria as a 'fighters bazaar'. But its not one way this time, according to Ukrainian officials 20,000 foreigners have arrived to fight for Ukraine. This is problematic, as a lot of the policy response built for 'foreign fighters' over past decade by West is effectively out the window. |

More fighting around Kyiv today as Russian forces continue their advance from the east and south and movements from the northwest and northeast try to extend their frontline. Significant Russian shelling on a number of towns/outer suburbs such as Makriv here in the video. Air activity increased. |

[b]This morning , the Iranian news agency Tasnim unveiled a new suicide drone from the house of the Revolutionary Guards, a day after the news of the interception of two Iranian drones that were on their way to the Gaza Strip from Iran by an IDF spokesman. According to the news agency, this is an unmanned aircraft, known as the Me'raj-504, and it was displayed at an exhibition held by the Revolutionary Guards in Tehran. The suicide drone, manufactured by Revolutionary Guards experts, can carry 2.5 kg of explosives within a range of 100 km. On March 5, the Revolutionary Guards unveiled two missile bases and underground drones. The bases are inside "tunnels in high mountains," the news agency reported. On the occasion of "Guard Day". This is the first time the Revolutionary Guards organization has uncovered an "underground skimmer base."
