Good day gurus in the house. I need advise on choosing an SUV. Budget is 3m to 3.5m
Key point: reliability, easy to maintain, RUGGEDNESS and high resale value.
Am having in mind lexus rx300 2003, Acura mdx 2006, Honda pilot 2006 but still open to any recommendation.

CC
Everyone
I have an accident free low mileage tokunbo 07 rav4.

The rx300 is too old. The 2006 mdx is okay. Stay away from really high mileage units. Transmission issues surface as they get older. The 06 pilot seems okay. Same concerns with the mdx though.

All the best

Cheap, how much is the asking price. Though I haven't heard of any known defect about the 508, naija used retails around 5m now grin

Sorry for the misinformation. The woman actually bought it 3.7m, Nigerian used.
I thought it was Tok.... The car clean like Tok. I later asked her.
But still, it's not that expensive like the likes of Lexus, Benz... Considering the caliber of the car

Car price in Nigeria is not by caliber. A VW passat and Audi A6 are more loaded than a camry but camry is more expensive in value than them.

The 508 must have been bought brand new In Nigeria and was official vehicle of top Gov workers so its expected for it to be well maintained and still in mint condition with all things being equal.

Hello house, please help look at the oil stain under this es350. Can I conclude that it is the oil for the car? A colleague of mine also pointed to the tyre marks on the oil, claiming it is definitely from another vehicle. What do you think please?

The oil on the ground is the least of your worries. That chassis is severely bent.

Go to a car stand and buy your car. Perform due diligence.

Or give this car buying thing to someone who knows what he is doing.

Clearing won't be child's play a month from now.

The government is about to make millions of money for people out of nothing.

Smart dealers would have taken all their cars off the lot for now and pray government goes ahead with the e valuation.

Prices of cars in Nigeria are not determined by Luxury and Quality, only DEMAND.

How can you explain the juju that made a 2004 basic Toyota Corolla to be expensive than a 2008 BMW 3 series?

Nigeria is a funny country. So the price of the car should not amaze you,its not in demand.
Once the ride is ok,you better buy it.

I know Nigerians adjust to sufferings and hardship in a blink of an eye but remember I did say the struggling masses in my statement. Some people can still afford the 2000 year model Camry if it is to be sold for 5m but majority won’t be able to afford it. Those are the ones I’m referring to.

You see the people buying them but do you see the people that are supposed to be buying them? You have no idea how many people would have been building if cement were still sold 2300.
I will tell you that a typical dealer that sells 4-5 cars a month will now struggle to sell 2 or 3 in the same time period.
Then if your capacity was to buy you a 2010 Lexus now and the capacity is now able to afford a 2004 Lexus. Won’t you buy what your capacity can carry if you really need a car? What then happens to the 2010 Lexus in the lot you were originally supposed to buy?

I don't think so. The pre-facelift Q50s don't look particularly amazing.
