Osibanjo is clearly showing daily that he is not a politician. He is allowing these young men and women campaigning for him every day to make him an enemy of everybody. Too bad

I will be the happiest person tomorrow if the VP refuses to attend and calls the bluff of the south west leaders.

Political novice!....... Lol

Hahahahahahahaha....see the neophytes advising him. Ajulo is not even a delegate to the convention. Reuben Abati asked him the other day if he was a delegate,he said NO. I couldn't stop laughing because of the way Abati was looking at him. This is not an NBA election oo. Those baba you're disrespecting are delegates and have influence on many other delegates in the south west and beyond.

I have been laughing here. The VP is truly a political neophyte. His situation is worse because his team is full of fellow political neophytes. Imagine Ajulo who's not even a delegate to the convention. Lol...... this is not NBA election.

Oshinbajo, Fayemi and Amosun should get ready to be stoned and demonize across Yorubaland should Southwest lose the ticket.

They're just there to play spoiler game because I don't know their political worth which can earn them APC ticket.

We're keenly watching

My Leader and Political mentor is an Omoluabi.
His word was just taken out of context.

He didn't issue a disclaimer.

No need of disclaimer, we're Yoruba and we understand what he actually mean. It's an idiomatic expression in Yoruba which means they're scared (referring to The Oyetolas).

That's what differentiate us, no matter how you understand Yoruba, you can't understand it better than we Yoruba.
Myself as a case study cool

those two elders are political actors and we know where their loyalty lies. Don't forget Osoba, tinubu & akande were colleagues between 99-2003.

I understand the other meaning. Mind you aregbesola never said so. It was one other guy beside him.
But aregbesola said they have been according them undue respect even where such was undeserving. Was he referring to Oyetola?

Seeing the furore it generated, Aregbesola should have issued a rejoinder to clear the air.

Tinubu also have bugger questions to answer..

He is the biggest landlord in Lagos state....
Bullion van.....
Late Funso Williams saga..

Former Eti-osa Secretariat property in Ikoyi. Etc.

Thank God, Osinbajo has the bad antecedent records of Tinubu in his archive....

We are in this game together...

I already knew osinbajo won't attend

I also know fayemi, amosun won't attend probably only bakare

They all know the meeting is to blackmail them to step down for tinubu

I guess yorubas can now see that there is real war going on not the "tilumbu is scripting the show" with his boys declaring

I hope yorubas can also see tilumbu is jittery and loosing that's why he needed this meeting

100 spot on. I have held back on criticising Osinbajo because I still believe in a common Yoruba agenda and ubderstand the need to see the bigger picture so we do not end up frustrating ouservelves as happened with Awolowo and Abiola in the past.

That said Osinbajo is showing some worrying character flaw that indicates a guilty conscience, dearth of vision, absence of nobility and honour, lack of bravery, inability to man up plus the attitude of a generally unprincipled person.

Why avoiding Tinubu up and down starting with the invitation from Aisha Buhari? Why can Osinbajo not be brave to meet and be candid with a man who has being a friend, supporter, benefactor and mentor for decades to him?

It is only cowards who hide behind others as Osinbajo is now doing routinely lately. A quality we never want in our President.

Also, did Yorubas not agree, even from years ago, we must be united and indivisible to use our prominence in the APC to gain a Yoruba President in 2023 knowing fully well, from history, that a divided house always falls?

Why is Osinbajo now doing this or allowing it to be done in his name? Simple meeting to clear the air and unite they throw a tantrum to begin paranoid name calling. Why cast other Yorubas, most especially Tinubu he owes everything to, as enemies over an ambition that may not sail?

Is Osinbajo that myopic and shortsighted to not realize that tomorrow will still arrive so therefore we need to watch our conduct today?

Look at the direction everyone around Osinbajo is taking. From his inner crew to even his supporters online. Must team Osinbajo make his ambition one which can only be achieved by disparaging, fighting and making an enemy of Tinubu?

There have been so many meetings in the past held to ensure Yorubas avoid this situation we are in today. Yet we have arrived there courtesy of the toxic, churlish, myopic, pugnacious ambition of Osinbajo. There is no doubt all around Osinbajo are getting their behaviour 'feelers' from the man himself.

All in all, I am personally thinking I made a mistake seeing Osinbajo as potentially a good president. Too much is been revealed now that is unsavory and distasteful about him.

A meeting convened by respected Yoruba elders he wants to snub. He is now acting as if he owes Yorubas no courtesy whatsoever and all his allegiance belong to his 'alagbara' backers or the instructions they have given him. Good luck to him.

Like you warn, Osinbajo better win the APC ticket and become President. That is the only redemption for him and the outcome that will prevent him becoming an Aregbesola or FFK.

Stop saying this rubbish up and down. Some of you just began following politics yesterday and you think the way to play it is to fight everyone/everything to a standstill. Politics of bellicosity and enmity.

These Tinubu "loyalists" were some of the backbone of the APC at the time the Party was formed when Osinbajo was not even a politician.

Also, you must be a 'today's political child' of ingratitude and ignorance, now common in Nigeria, to not be aware of the part many Yorubas played to get Buhari and Osinbajo to power.

All in the the hope our hardwork will be rewarded and that we ourselves will be united and indivisible enough to mount a winning Yoruba challenge.

It is a simple 'unity' and clear the air meeting Osinbajo should man up and attend. They won't fight or kill him there because these are all his former associates who fought for him and looked out for his interest for many years.

Same people his myopic team and ignorant fans, like you, are now advocating he disrespect, disregard and dishonour.

Certainly Osinbajo appears to have learned divisive and polarising antics, the sort that has now set Nigeria back horribly, from his boss.

All the same, good luck to you guys. We will see how things pan out.

Please guy, just shut up on Yoruba political affairs. You are ignorant and irritating. An obnoxious attention-seeker.

2023 has, even from the foemation of APC, being about Yorubas presenting a strong, united and indivisible challenge so we do not relive Awolowo and Abiola saga again. Well-documented. Go and do your research.

All these guys, from Tinubu, Osinbajo, Amosun to Fayemi are fully aware of this 'pact' so why the childish, unprincipled and cowardly behaviour?

Nothing is my business if SE Presidential candidates convene a meeting let alone I will be supporting the shunning of such which, if not for anything, still brings others together maturely.

All brave men, who truly deserve the tag 'leader', should attend. Things like that show the real leaders out of the many pretenders.

Anyway, you're from a region where politics of division and enmity is king so I cannot blame you.
