Mpg is not encouraging one bit.

Lol, the Merc has been mechanically solid. What issues I've had are to do with the electrical system (alternator and starter motor, both of which have now been replaced) and front suspension (inner roads here aren't the best).

It's qualitatively a better vehicle than the Infiniti (which anyone would expect it to be). I'll just have to buy an SUV so I don't put it through the rigors of bad roads.



No. Ride is a lot better, engine is much smoother, can't beat a V8.



Similar mpg in city (around 10 mpg), but I can get 18 mpg+ on the Merc on the highway. I couldn't with the Infiniti.

Please which route did you pass for maximum safety and good enough roads.

I bounced from Sangotedo to Epe to ijebu Ode to Ore-ondo bypass to ondo to Ikare to owo to kabba to lokoja to abaji to gwagwalada then inside abuja. Use map to connect the dots as map from Lagos to abuja has its own route. the route I shared with you is public transport route as I intentionally used public transport on my first visit to abuja to secure accommodation.

bonus tip
I left Lagos by 2pm and got to owo before night fall and slept there. got to abuja by 2pm the following day. I didn't meet all those excess checkpoints along Lagos ore road.
