Reeling out figures as usual, accurate or inaccurate, no one cares as he craftily do this with a flawless oratory....nothing new

I can't wait to see Tinubu and Atiku avail themselves for scrutiny in the same manner Peter Obi has done going forward.

No African country has 1 million police officers.
Nigeria still has one of the largest forces on the continent.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_and_dependencies_by_number_of_police_officers

Police units in Egypt is about a Million, Here is the link to their actual wikipedia

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egyptian_National_Police#:~:text=Egyptian%20National%20Police%20or%20ENP,Egyptian%20Police%20logo

And from your link, following the needed amount of 300 police officers per 100K persons, you can see how far lagging behind we are. We are below half the recommended minimum.

So basically, it’s justified that he should be dishonest just because he is scared of the backlash from Nigerians. Isn’t his candidature built on the supposed values of truth, integrity and honesty ? How then are we suddenly using the supposed standards of other aspirants to judge this gaffe. As opposed to lying or deception, why not state what he plans to do, and give detailed explanation of why that choice is in the country’s best interest. Integrity is key.

So would you be happy if any Nigerian government removed subsidy on petrol?

Be honest.

Okay, on the other hand, thanks to the rise in crude oil prices, cost of subsidy has risen from 1 trillion per annum 4 years ago to 5 trillion now.

Money that should have been spent on educaiton and health, as Obi said in his interview.....

Instead we are dashing a few corrupt individuals money in return for cheap fuel that isn't cheap.
Let me never hear you speak against increase of fuel price sha

Why are you speaking on behalf of Nigerian Politicians? So because Obi couldn't give a straight answer, it means others will say Yes and No.

For your information, Tinubu said he will remove subsidy.

In 2015, when he was not running. How about now?

What about buhari that promised to remove it and later add it?

Truth here is he is not sure. The question is too simple but complex when taking action.

First, Peter Obi is not Buhari.

Second, he clearly stated that he will remove petrol subsidy, but will compensate the effect on Nigerians with "something" that will both cushion the effect and move people's lives forward.

You all need to quit lying.

I love the fact he didn't come to insult other candidates, he preaches love not hate, he is not interested in tribal or religious politics, all he cares about is a working Nigeria, the Nigerian dream. Because, when we leave the shores of Nigeria, we are no longer Igbo or yoruba or Hausa, we are just Nigerians.
I'm beginning to like him. He is a breath of fresh air.

Each of the answer will obviously have a negative reaction from people depending on their class. Elites want removal of subsidy, whole the poor do not want it. Such questions must be answered with wisdom as to avoid offending prospective voters. He was smart.

Many of the elite who directly benefit from subsidies don't want it gone either. Plus they also benefit from the same cheap fuel prices...as do the poor.

I have no respect for some people! Especially Igbo’s who is supporting Obi. This same Obi has never visited Nnawmdi Kanu . He doesn’t believe in BiAfra. He’s against IPoB. This same people forgot Sowore who stood by Kanu and Biafra.

Igbo’s are selfish! This is why Peter can never win. He’s against Igbo’s freedom to Unite the Zoo and Biafra together

Peter Obi believes that Nigeria is under-policed. That other African countries which are smaller than Nigeria have up to 1 million officers. I absolutely agree.
But where will the money to fund them come from? The current officers are poorly paid despite being too few in number.
Seun Nigeria can generate a lot of money to run its various sectors just by cutting down cost of governance. Cutting down on corruption is also a major revenue booster

I have always talk about total removal of fuel subsidy. The only politician I will support is the one that say it with his full chest that he will remove fuel subsidy. Which one is yes and no? Yes how, no how?

If anybody like, let him cut off unnecessary spending, if he doesn't totally remove fuel subsidy, he's wasting his time.

Peter Obi should say it with his full chest that he will remove subsidy and he'll get my support.
