Also, as of today, I graduated nursing school and passed my board exams smiley

Welcome back from your long sabbatical.

Please as per the nursing school, if I decide to start one when I get there, will I be required to possess any Nigerian certificate at any level. If so, what other options do I have if I don't have a Nigerian certificate..?

I am the happiest person here today for many reasons.
All the people I have been following on NL as per immigration to US have been sharing many testimonies.

Congratulations oga frank. God bless you more.

Please, I want to connect with you. I beg you in God's name. I have been praying for you to come back to this thread.
I gained admission to study pre-nursing in a community college already and I am waiting to write the placement test.

I really need you in many ways to guide me .

Thanks

Just come with your WAEC, apply for community college and go from there.

Even if you don’t wanna use your WAEC, there’s an equivalent here called GED certificate, it’s super easy to get. Enter yankee first, your road go clear

NURSING SCHOOL

One of the biggest issues I had with my studies was unlearning how i studied in Nigeria and crafting better study habits. After one of my hardest exams where i came out with a terrible grade, i muttered to myself “nursing school will humble you” and that became my mantra. For research purposes and transparency, ill share a screenshot of my grades, just to drive some points home.

Nursing school is a different beast entirely and now that I am officially done and a registered nurse, I must say it was one of the most trying periods of my life and much harder than medical school in Nigeria. Quote me anywhere

Applying for my citizenship wasn’t much of a hassle. According to the uscis, once you’ve stayed in the USA for a period of 5 years and you’re a green card holder in good standing with the law, you could apply for citizenship.

October 2021, I started the process, uploaded the documents to their website and paid the roughly $800 fee. The whole process took approximately 6 months and on 28/04, I was sworn in as a new citizen of the USA. My passport was just shipped to my house last week and I’ve already voted in my first election (primary elections).

lol baba God go answer you.

Sneak peek of small town Pennsylvania. Good roads, uninterrupted power supply, law and order, good social safety nets, good healthcare, time to relax and take vacations, food aplenty... I am as patriotic as they come but Nigeria is basically hell on earth.
