What's happening, I can't get a date for biometrics at VI Tls...August is fully booked and no time or date is showing for September. Have I done something wrong?

Yes I did a walk-in at their VI location yesterday. Just make sure you have a print out of your checklist, passport data page, appointment email and they also asked for the proof you have submitted your documents online (So print out that page with the list of documents submitted). They only accepted self-service walk-in. Though I had to wait from 7am till about 2pm after they had finished with everyone who had an appointment (I suggest you go early). I don't know if it is an everyday thing or based on how the crowd is for the day.

Going to Bournemouth in January with spouse and 2 kids. I would appreciate anyone with the experience to share on how easy or otherwise to get settled as a student with such dependants.
Someone advised I should go first and bring my dependants later. Is this a better option? Thanks.

It depends on your Tuition as well as balance left to pay after paying deposit.

For example, if your Tuition is £14k and you make a deposit of £4k, you will be left with £10k to pay.

Tuition Balance: £10k
Maintenance for Main Applicant(Outside London): 1023 × 9months = £9207
Maintenance for Dependant: 680×9months= £6120
Total= £25,327

Using OANDA rate of let's say 510, you have 25,327 × 510= N12,916,770.

Which means a POF of N15,000,000 will be fine.

Keep on refreshing, though tasking, but you will find. All the best.

The visit visa application was to sit for exams for some courses I had done remotely( online) and I’m now applying to the same school to sit for the exams and complete the entire course ( as I couldn’t do anything more because of the refusals)

Thank you. The application starts counting from whenever you do your biometrics. The initial date wouldn't matter anymore, hence why you pay for a walk-in.

You can use Form A to pay for school fees in UK. The exchange rate of which fluctuate but has never been above 560 for 1 pound.

If you pay your full tuition, you only need to show your living expenses in your POF. If your visa is refused (which is unlikely in your circumstance considering you have had international education experience) The school will give you a full refund so long as there was no misrepresentation or fake documents attached to you application. The school will ask for the refusal letter before they will refund you.

After you make a large deposit, skip the date of the lump sum deposit, count the next 28 days and print your statement. They don’t care about the source of the money so long as it it in your acct for full 28 days.After you make the deposit, continue to run your account as you normally do with reasonable credit and debit till the 28th day.
