Please I need advice from you guys. I am thinking of going into business but don't know a profitable one to go into. I have asked friends and family and I got some ideas but I don't know how profitable they are and the cost of starting them. I would list them here so that you guys could give me your opinion and also give me other ideas too. Thanks

1) opening a viewing center and games center: a viewing center is where people go to watch football matches and a game center is where people go to play games like ps2, ps3, Xbox on television. I intend to run both at the same place since matches are only aired on weekends(aside during cl and el days),I can run the games center to get money daily.

2) opening a unisex salon: this one entails opening a shop where both guys and girls can make their hair. It will require getting people that can barb and plait hair as I don't know how to do this

3) opening a gas filling shop: this one has to do with opening a shop that will be selling gas

4) selling of laptops and phones: this involves importing laptops and phones and selling them

5) opening a restaurant: opening a restaurant that sells different types of food and drinks

This are the ideas I have,please if you know anything about them,how much it will cost to open and profit expected from them please your opinion is needed.

Opening a restaurant is the most feasible of these because people must always eat.

3) What is their per capita income?

After you have answered these, you will know which ideas to embark on. This is imperative because your location determines what will sell.

For instance, if you reside in one of the suburb saturated with youth, a viewing centre will be profitable but if you stay around a Gra, you biz will fold up within three weeks.

Opening viewing center is no more lucrative because of the high numbers of betting shops everywhere , showing free live matches even bar parlours and restaurants shows live matches free. Will advice you not to even consider that option.
