1.) FOREX waivers. How does it work you may ask? Dangote gets waiver from CBN to buy dollar at CBN rate or sometimes below CBN rate and then he collects the dollar and sells it at black market rate.


Imagine if CBN gives you waiver to buy $500million at 450 naira to $1 and then you collect the $500million and go to black market to sell it at 710 naira to $1, thereby making 260 naira per each $1.


Now multiply $500,000,000 x 260.



He gets this waiver every year, now calculate how much Dangote makes every year from just FOREX waiver only.

3.) He has free access to obtain loan from any Nigerian bank without collateral and AMCON will never dare seize his assets whenever he defaults as he always do.
