They did not settle. They are returnee Yoruba slaves who were taken to South America . Many returned via Sierra Leone and settle in Lagos between the late 1800s and early 1900s .
Some came with artisanal skills which gravely influenced the architecture of yorubaland in the 1900s . Other had influence in politics and business. This history is very much a large part of Yoruba history.

One big clue most miss as well is that he writes Osinbajo as Osinbanjo. We all know it is IPOBians who do that because they are reprehensible dullards whose unrefined okoro tongue can't be cured of it's spelling and pronunciation malady.

Let this election come and go but 'woke' Yorubas must be dealt with. They helped to deliver this deplorable situation we now face that must surely have made us a laughing stock of all ethnic groups in Nigeria. Ijaws, for example, will surely be mocking us while Fulanis will be laughing thinking "who born Igbo to try this for Kano?".
