It is not about the Europeans of today, but about the records written by those who witnessed our ancestors and wrote down their encounter with our ancestors (their skin colour and origin are irrelevant). Do you know the wonderful thing about God Almighty’s Truth

It Conquers lies all the time

So are you now saying that the Oba of Benin was lying when he said Oranmiyan was the first Oba of Benin after the Ogiso dynasty
Please don’t digress
An other thing:

The Oba of Benin said "we believe...". You really have comprehension problems. Oranmiyan never existed, and some believe he did are two non contradictory statements.
So since you insist, the Oba of Benin was not lying and can't possibly do time travel and is not s historian. As he said, oranmiyan is a belief, not a fact !
And the Oba even stated that "we won't impose this belief upon anybody".

So you are now agreeing that the Oba of Benin doesn't know the History of his own Ancestors or dynasty or where or from whom he descended from

Do we now agree on this ?

Yet again you expose the fact that you don't know the meaning of the word history.
The Oba of Benin was honest in his statement "we believe...".
Honesty is a good thing, eventhough tour Yoruba culture hates it.
Your people and your monarchs who keep making up stories and calling tat history are liars ! That is a bad thing ! Nobody knows what took place before eyewitness records, we can only speculate, and the honest people admit it whereas dishonest people like you and the Oni of Ife, claim to know what they can't possibly know, you are the liars!
Also, your shifting of the goal post is becoming nauseating.

What you just said might be the most twisted statement which. I have ever heard.

1) there is nobody on earth whom is more Edo than the Oba of Benin, indeed unlike most Nigerians, the Oba of Benin's ancestors were witnessed by Europeans in the 1400's. And the Oba was already sitting on his imperial throne in his capital (Benin city). His vassal (Olu of Warri) was actually the first to meet the Europeans, but sent them to the emperor from whom the Olu derived his authority.
2) ogiamen is a well known imposter and traitor, indeed the ogimens collaborated with the British during the 1897 war between Benin and Britain which resulted in the looting and burning of Benin city. One of the very few houses in Benin city which didn't get burnt by the British was that of their ogiamen collaborators.
3) ogiamen has clearly alligned himself with Yoruba supremacists who claim the Oba of Benin is a Yoruba. The Yoruba supremacists boost the ogiamen claim and the ogiamen boosts the Yoruba supremacist claim.
4) our ancestors couldn't read or write and had no access to papers and pens, so how in god's name was any treaty signed between us?
5) it is only people with very poor education who can actually believe that the Oba of Benin could be anything other than an Edo, does your ancestry go back 600 years ? Well, only the Oba of Benin and perhaps two other monarchs in Nigeria have an ancestry which goes back 600 years. So it is foolish for you to claim "Oba of Benin is Yoruba". His ancestry of more than 600 years clearly says he is the most Edo man on earth.
6) how far does the Oni of Ife's ancestry go ?
7) how far does your ancestry go ?
8 ) you don't even know your true origin nor that of the Oni of ife (slave descendent, Sudanese migrant, indigenous local...), what is known, however, is the origin of the Oba of Benin, and it is Benin empire, in the capital of the empire.

1) A point of the yoruba lying machine is to take an era which is obscure and unknown and to make claims about that era, and this is because to thee Yoruba, they don't need to provide evidence to any claim they make, rather it is up to others to provide evidence of the opposite of the Yoruba claims. So since the period on which the Yoruba are making claims is obscure and unknown, nobody can provide evidence to the opposite of Yoruba claims on that period.
2) that is a semi-literate way of thinking, indeed, humans of this era in time have better methods than that: when you make s claim, it is up to you to provide evidence, until then your claim is not more worthy than that of any crazy drunk.
3) I don't debate liars with more lies of my own, I present evidence to prove them wrong and I am always ready to accept actual proof of me being wrong, to the Yoruba, my way is weak, they indeed believe that telling lies is proof of strength and that liars will always triumph over those who stick to the truth no matter what.
4) you can go through the many lies of this Yoruba which I have exposed right here, and with no shame whatsoever, he continues to talk and to make up more lies.
5) contrary to what most Yoruba think, history is about evidence. You make a claim, you provide evidence. It is not about just making up stories and telling people to "humble themselves to learn": basically they are telling you to shut down your thinking faculties in order to believe their fairytales and call their made up stories "history".

Once again:

1)History is the collection of events which can be proven to have happened
2) the only functional way of discovering history is the study of eyewitness written texts.
3) Benin history, which is the longest in the region, dates back to the 1400's.
4) the period before the 1400's in our region is unknown to mankind.
5) when honest people talk about the period of time which wasn't recorded by history, they say "we believe...", when liars talk about that period they say "we know..."
6) the Oba of Benin is the embodiment of Benin culture which values honesty, so he said "we believe..." and the Oba of Benin is also well educated with his master's degree and he knows the science which I have been trying to teach you, that is why the Oba of Benin also added "we will not force our belief upon anybody"
7) the Oni of Ife is the embodiment of Yoruba culture which values lies, that is why the Oni of Ife lied and lies all the time.

8 ) I have repeated myself enough

Notice he wasn't a prisoner of war in this picture, he was free and dressed in his costom, in his culture.
Notice, that there are no beeds on him and no recognizable crown on him like those you see on his current successor. Notice his "palace" in the background.

When Yoruba wannabes cannot get facts to prove their fake imagination, they attack each other, one another and it becomes Ogiso king of the sky v. Edo.

No matter how you try, Yoruba culture and gods are still worshipped by your Royal House. They still bear Yoruba names and their linqu franca remain Yoruba dialect from the Yoruba language.

You guys are fun to watch as you dance naked in the market.

1) I urge everybody to ignore @googi's unsubstantiated statements. For at least one of those statements, I have provided evidence that @googi is telling a lie.
2) As for language, Benin has been written about since the 1400's, although Benin kingdom/empire has many languages like all empires did, the language of the Oba has never been claimed to be different from the Edo language by anybody who visited the Oba and wrote about the encounter.
3) by the way, the picture below is that of the Oni of Ife. I asked whom he was and the yarr.ibas either don't know or they just don't want to claim him, because in reality they are ashamed of their true history. Notice the "beautiful Oni palace" behind the Oni. Also notice the lack of red beads and the "crown".

I am currently reading a report in which it is claimed that after the British took over Lagos from Benin, a lot of fugitive slaves (many of them were egba) migrated into Lagos.
Plus the British dumped some Brazilian slaves in Lagos as well. This explains Yoruba presence in Lagos.
Recent migration is fascinating.
The true Lagosians are not Yoruba.
