Nairaland is a community for sharing information, however our boundaries are limited because i repeat no one works in UKVI here. so always carefully read and follow instructions on the website to know appropriate processing time for your applications, not to come here and start bombarding us with questions that we can not answer just few weeks/ or days after bio(I am talking generally) Have a good day Nwanne wink

For those of use working in Organization where their CAC is inactive nko? I have search some of these big conglomerate company like Leventis where I worked before all their sisters company are all inactive will ECO use that to make decision when the company in actual sense exist and doing well in Nigeria market.

I always try to be modest with my feedbacks but i do not think you did well by holding to the information your dad gave you.

You could have just confirmed here https://search.cac.gov.ng/home

That been said, the issue with large deposits is unexplainable because this is the area ecos hammer applicants mostly.

Subsequently, operate a very simple account with lesser transactions.

My honest input.

The truth is, once your employer’s status is inactive in that portal, it increases the scrutiny on your application and casts doubts on every other thing you’ve claimed in relation to that employment (especially if you now submitted many company related documents e.g introduction letters, etc etc).

If you’ve now claimed your employment is your major source of income, then they’ll over stress on your account statement, if anything seems off or even slightly different from what you’ve claimed/declared, then that’s wahala #2.

Even if your company is so popular that it works with the UK government itself, the ECOs are bound to remain objective by working with whatever information you directly provided, what can be inferred/assumed mostly from it and their checklists and this might include things like confirming an active status on the CAC portal etc.

So yes, it counts. For you to successfully jump over that flag, the other parts of your application/documentation must be super super straightforward or your ECO must be one of those “innocent until proven guilty” humans. Judging from the way the decisions are taken, it seems visa decisions run with the idea of “guilty until proven innocent”

When is your return date? Talk to a reliable travel agent to see if he or she can get you one within your budget. You can also try priceline.com or hotwire.com. The summer officially begins on June 21 through September 22 so you should expect airfare to skyrocket during this period.

The answer is yes.

If you are traveling from Nigeria to the UK and have a connecting flight at any airport in the Schengen area, you will need a transit visa unless you have a diplomatic passport, a valid visa or residency permit issued by any Schengen nations, Canada, Japan, or the United States.

That would depend on if her circumstances have changed ie the reasons for her rejections have now been sorted.

I have zero reason to say what is untrue and your conditional clause “If it is true” makes me feel a certain way.

She believes her situation has changed.

She was denied because they claimed they couldn’t establish any relationship between her and our uncle, who wanted to sponsor the trip. She and my uncle’s daughter were supposed to travel to meet with our uncle who was traveling to UK from the US.

Also, I used my bank account to support her last application but she will not need that anymore.

Now she wants to apply by herself and travel alone. She will sponsor the trip 100% herself. Her account balance shows about 3.1 million.

She was denied in 2021 and recently in February 2023.
