Seems TLM ain't doing too well in Europe, but its good in NA. Overseas audience seem not all intrigued by it. More like Ariel and co has more cultural impact on American audiences than the rest of the world. That $250mn budget is putting it in a tight spot.


As for The Flash tracking, I ain't fazed one bit. Surprised a little by the initial report, but after doing due diligence it's mostly hogwash. That $70mn talk was trash spilled by THR citing an industry "expert". The Flash doesn't look like something that's going to gross less than $95mn at the box office. I'm optimistic this is beating industry expectations with over $100mn to around $120mn.

Even the experts ain't sure of its range with it tracking as high as a possible $135mn. It's early days so chill out. The actual casual audiences are yet to be reminded much that The Flash is just around the corner. Mostly film fans knows about this already so I ain't fretting.

Also the preview screenings is pretty much implying the film is getting sold out in many places.
Once TLM and SpiderVerse is out of the corner as well as Transformers, audiences can now properly see Flash as the event movie. These films comes out before Flash so expect them to have more buzz and momentum at the moment.
Industry experts also make mistakes in their tracking, so let's chill. I'm very sure The Flash will be a banger at the BO. WB is overly confident about this. There's hardly any significant negative feedback from critics ans early screening of the film. Good vibes all round from everyone who's seen it, even Tom Cruise and Stephen King praised it, as well as Gunn himself saying it's the best CBM he ever saw months ago.

Based on my deductions from the current movies in theatres, The Flash will benefit from these following competing movies losing audiences.
A) TLM ain't doing good with Asian audiences. Soft response from Europe and overseas overall.
B) Fast X is doing poorly in North America with far poorer domestic drops than F9 with TLM competition.

So with this fact, The Flash will benefit from these movies faltering. This is SEPARATE from current audience the FLASH is tracking for.

We'd see in weeks how SpiderVerse does to fully access the next BIG competition.
