Chai Stanbic IBTC now place UBA a speculative buy. With the Current devaluation I think UBA will benefit and do well. But their lack of good dividend payment has put question marks on UBA numbers and held it down. Not surprised ACCESS bank is not on their buy list. As this devaluation will likely not pay ACCESS as much compared to other banks like FBNH and UBA.

Wanted to buy WAPCO. But digging in further it looks they may have a bad Q2 and full year 2023 as it seems they have sizeable forex loans and I doubt if they have enough exports to back up cashflow for the FX loans. Waiting to see if WAPCO Q2 results will be bad. Well market has not moved it up too much this year as Mr Market knows it is not one of the undervalued stocks. And not a light weight for easy speculative price swing. It's price swings are more inclined to come from FA insights .

We are used to seeing stocks at ridiculously cheap prices, if I tell you the fair price of some the fundamentally sound stocks, fear go catch you.

In Transcorp's case, my guess is the money was released or awarded to her as emoluments specifically for use in buying Transcorp shares.

Most of these kobo stocks that have done 100% and above will need to take a break now.Q2 results will justify their current prices while those with good Q2 will rally the more.

Japaul in my mind

But why japaul is not showing any sign of seriousness? One leg in,two legs out. In 2021, japaul reached #1.67 while ftn was 0.97 or there about. This year, japaul has been lagging behind compare to ftn and chams and I don't understand. Multiverse which is in the same mining industry is far above #3 although I understand it did share reconstruction sometimes last year or there about. I thought japaul would reach #1 this month, but I was wrong.

AGM politics is the only politics in Nigeria that is worse than the one that selected Tinubu into Presidency. I cannot say more than this. All I can say is Thank your God if you have never attended any AGM. It's an organised madness.
