Like what amount can someone lock in to be able to pay one salary?

If your salary is 100k plus lock in 10m if rate is 10%. Do the rest of the calculations if i earn 1m monthly.

If he locks in 10m @ 10% that's like 83.3k monthly ooo.

Any federal government bonds make sense, you just have to make your choice but some require huge funds like N50m while the likes of sukuk bonds, saving bonds require as little as 100k to partake in them.

Currently, in the industry, the highest net rate for MMF is not up to 13%. Check again and be sure the rate you are checking is for MMF and not other mutual funds.

Good day emmasoft et al, if one wants to invest N15m in Mutual fund, which investment firms can give the individual the best ROI and the rate?

I will give my suggestion with the following assumptions
That you are a Conservative investor, you want to have capital guaranteed and possibly interest,
Going for long term and want a sec regulated firm.

Base on this I suggest you do mmf and fixed income fund. 60% mmf and 40% fixed income

I recommend Stanbic ibtc money market fund with rate at 10.28% and reinvestment every month.

SFS fixed income fund. Rate at 11.04% and re-investment quarterly.
For both, interest is earned daily.

You can also call me with the numbers displayed if you need further clarifications

Stanbic has been delaying in funding my account for consecutive months now.

I usually credit through the bank transfer option and I put my e-account as narration. I always credit before 12pm.

I'm tired of the delay because I am losing daily interest that way.

Is there another one you can recommend that credit promptly?

I am currently having this issue. I topped up via the bank transfer option as it should be done 9am today, till now, it is not reflecting in my balance.
Which way Stanbic MMF?

@DivineSkills70 apologies for the inconveniences.

Please note that any deposit made before 12 noon will always gave same day value and interest accrued even if posting was not same day.

Delay could be as a result of the period of deposit.
Usually deposit made at very last day of d month or a day or two to the end of the month or quarter may have delay in posting because of interest/dividend payment and rebalancing of underlying assets.

It could also be between your bank and the custodian bank. As of the time you get a debit alert it's very possible nothing has happened at the custodian bank and only deposit that is confirm can be posted. If the confirmation came in late posting may be delayed.

However, your interest will always count as stated earlier.

You can add SFS fixed income fund.
11.04% right now.
They allow virtual/personal account number dedicated to your inflow such that confirmation is almost instant because the account belongs to just you alone. Check details on my signature or get in touch.

A good practice normally is to have at least two fund managers to allow for flexibility.

Check your account again it should reflect.
The reason for delay is most likely because of end of month/quarter activities.

Good day to you all, someone introduce me to cowrywise. How safe it is?
Cause i can see many firms mmf/fixed fund there e.g sfsfund, stanbic. . . Etc, is adviseable to use it instead of opening multiple account on sfsfund, axamansard, stanbic. . .
But they charging a whooping of 1.5% fee

Seems safe, since if they crash you can claim your money from the primary providers. The only issues is you'll be paying more fees than you should. The primary providers take their fees, then cowry wise does the same.

I am very particular about fees. Otherwise, you can probably go ahead.

How do you claim a funds in another persons name?

I mean cowrywise must have invested in their "cowrywise" name, so how do investors lay claim to that?

Am not saying cowrywise is a bad investment, am just asking for clarification sake.

For most fintech companies you still have a CSCS number, if you buy an ETF or stocks then it's in your name.

Also for MMF fund bought under those platforms, it should usually be in the investors name, the platform should only be an intermediary between the individual and the mutual fund company. It is the duty of the investors to ask for his investment certificate and have it handy. If those platform go burst, then you can contact the provider or the platform may transfer your details to another platform.

If cowry wise invests your money with their name, then it's a Ponzi scheme and you've got to run.
