The Nigeria oppositions have been fuming at almost every move by the new administration on how to save government excesses and also generate new income as we are avoiding unnecessary loans. Without taxation, how then can FG raised money for projects and development of the country? The Nigeria oppositions should proffer a way on how government can run her business without unnecessary loans. Enough of Wailing 3 Likes |

Sweetrosie: Hahaha, what exactly do Nigeria oppositions want. The present government have been presenting their plans to Nigerians, workers, business men/women, stake holders and religious leaders which all are patiently waiting for the implementations to curb the effects of fuel subsidy removal. So if the opposition are not satisfied with the present administration plans, then they should provide us one without coming online to be wailing daily |

helinues:Don’t mind them… Tell Tinubu to increase taxes more. - He needs to start taxing Nigerians for every time they use the toilet (Toilet/Shit Tax). - Then tax for coming out of your house. If you don’t want to pay it, stay indoors. - Tax on every spoon of rice we put in our mouth (Eating Tax; the govt needs money for Agriculture). - Tax for every ball of fufu, eba and pounded yam we swallow (still Eating Tax; Nigerians eat too much). -Owambe Tax for every Owambe celebration (govt spend so much on security of those celebrating Owambe) - Tax for every burial ceremony (if you can’t pay it leave your relative in the mortuary). - Tax for wedding ceremony (if you can’t pay it don’t get married). Did I forget anything? If those are still not enough, maybe he can consider taxing drinking of water and air. 5 Likes |

michlins: Lol 😂 so you don’t know there is separation of powers? All the 36 states get allocation monthly from FAAC and they have their own states that choose how they spend the money. If a governor have 10 cars in his convoy for example for the state and he wanted to go visit Tinubu in Lagos to escort him from the airport. Tinubu do not have the right to tell him to limit the car because it’s a matter of security. The last thing he can do is to tell them not come at all. Then that means a sitting president cannot be visited by multiple governors at once while they drive together. Let’s even think about it. If Ogun state governor with his 10 convoy do not visit Lagos on that day, he will probably be at another function with his convoy and they will utilize the same fuel being paid from his state revenue. So how exactly does them being in Tinubu convoy equate to wastage on the FG side? 1 Like |

helinues: E dey very simple na. You don't expect LP to gv their rival expo.. First of all they have to stop looting.. Reduce the cost of governance by 80%. Scrap Nysc and many other money wasting ventures... Or limit the number of corpers to only 300 per state, one batch. After they have reduced the cost of governance, they should cut the nation's coat to it's size.. How to raise money, make them crack dia brain. |

LegendHero:about that, the president can tell who it may concern to either come with fewer cars or not to come at all. Such display of opulence when you're telling the masses to endure suffering is highly demoralising. It will push everyone into wanting to have a taste of power at all cost. helinues:you say it is irrelevant? Tell that to civil servant struggling not to collect bribe in his or her office. It is those little things that matter and make the most difference. I don't expect Tinubu to start farming to raise money for Nigeria. But while telling the masses to endure the suffering, you sef show a bit of adjustment as a way of doing your part. Regardless of what the government does, I don't really care. What I know is that I will wake up every morning and do my best for myself. My growth and development isn't dependent on them. I am a Nigerian and I will always find a way |

michlins: The president cannot instruct them to come with lesser car. They are elected by their people just like the president and they have their own normal protocol. No be president dey fuel their car. Also, most times in gathering like that, even the president will not know who and who is coming. It’s homecoming and you’ll have lot of well wishers and friends that will join that convoy. It will be hard to control it in that instance. Nigerians understand what happened and even you guys that are trying to blame the president know what happened, you just have to constantly complain for talking sake. 2 Likes |

Opposition is no longer vibrant as it was in the past. You will see Awolowo declares his alternative budget the following day after Shagari's own,for people to see in details how he was going to do things differently This days you find members of the same party in National Assembly not sharing the same value and opposition no longer speak with one voice. All they want is to share the national cake |
