Tinubu is unserious like Buhari, it'll likely be months before Ministers re sworn in, no policy direction and the economy is in auto pilot, apart from bank results, looks like nothing can really drive this market again.

Serious manipulation going on there. They traded few units until last trade of the day both yesterday and today. Imagine 133K units traded today and last trade was 105K. Similar pattern yesterday

You're right ........but I think that's just the way they could move the price up because it has been traded at day's high without official price appreciation for quite a long time now..

How many retailers can stake that amount on just 100k units even if they have the money? N177M for just 105k for today's own?

Not in support of the manipulations but I think without it, it can't move.

I think SEC needs to revisit the price mvmt rule for large cap stocks especially.

Did she buy through a bank or Stockbroker?

Was it a primary or secondary market offering

The first one she bought N5.5m was through FBN Quest, primary market and it appeared on her CSCS

The second one she bought N8.9m was through Molten Trust Ltd, primary market and also appeared on her CSCS

what I think PA Emma is trying to say is:
They are investment houses and brokers , hence can appear in CSCS..

But if bought through The banks(Stanbic bank, etc) , they won't automatically appear on your
CSCS portfolio, unless you authorize the bank through writing...

Also,
Most Banks also have the advantage of being more liquid than investment houses(e.g Fnnquest, etc) when one chooses to sell his/her bonds before maturity as the banks tend to easily find a willing buyer who is ready to accept your discount rate than the Investment houses you mentioned amongst others too.

*I hope I understood correctly grin lipsrsealed

I honestly don't know what the hurry hurry was all about
There are processes to follow when delisting.....who could have jumped the protocol in NGX for some gratification or egunje?
Courtville started this delisting process before Ardova and till now SEC is yet to attend to the issue fully...
- Truely, the rules are not meant for everyone in Naija. smiley

..but why is no one talking about it here? Thought we have the shareholders here as well.
You may have to contact their Registrar for update.

Chai. See seplat wey no dey move before. Abeg yMcy56, do it for us tomorrow again.

Meanwhile Access, Zenith, Gtb, fidelity and Uba usually audit their results every 2nd quarter, so we don't expect there result this month end. It is expected that they will not experience much increase in price.
But seplat, mtn, dangsugar, nascon, totalenergies results should start coming from tomorrow.
Seplat, totalenergies and mtn should give us good interim dividends this week.

Chai, This person want put sand sand for inside garri. Abeg allow them to manipulate. This corruption shall benefit me and my family.

On a very serious note, the rules dont favour big companies. To think that I can change the shareprice of a company like Daarcoms and send it to full bid with just 1million naira but i will need atleast 150million naira to move seplat in the same market, is not fair. What moves A should also move B. That is equallity and justice. But until those are achieved, manipulations or what ever it is called is allowed, once done within the rules.

Mind you there was no manipulation today. Someone sold 100k units and another bought.

That is something the market makers can easily do and legally too.

This is one if the very wicked companies on the nse, which reminds one to always strike when the iron is hot, 3 years ago u would rate this company over mrs, but mrs has returned more profit to me from capital appreciation as compared with ardova.....

They have stabilized this company after buying off from Otedola @ over #70 and nnow want to eat d rewards silently alone....

I think the term “Going concern” should also include wanting to stay in thebourse come rain come shine

If you read my initial statement, I said if one buys from the Stockbroker it would reflect on your CSCS, but if one buys through the bank it would not reflect.

You will need to write to CSCS for the investment to be moved.

Banks charge custody fees as the custodian of the Investment.

I prefer buying from the bank especially secondary market because I get a better deal and price compared to Stockbrokers

Not in all case.i bought my sukuk bond via stanbic bank.I was surprised I asked one of my brokers to print my cscs statement sometimes to be sure my investment was still ok with them.To my surprised it appeared in the statement. Though when filling the sukuk form I put my CHN no thr.If I was to have requested for the lodgement I won't have sent it to that particular house as I don't use the m for like 10yrs now.
