Ok, thank you so much.

Write a letter of explanation and also attach correspondence showing the letter just arrived. In your LOE, explain how the added funding will be disbursed

We have not received any update whatsoever from IRCC since early July. It's over a month now already. We did upfront medicals but we have not received the medicals confirmation from them nor the received the request yet. No update on eligibility or processing, nothing nothing.
kenoja:
Has your medical been updated (if upfront), if yes, what date? or you are still waiting for medical request?

1. That's fine, once you can justify it. The 'purpose of visit' part of your LOE needs to be really convincing and personalized (i.e. should be specific to your experience and goals).

2. It should fly. Try work on your home ties too.

boss please I want to send my sop to you for a professional review and editing, pls kindly share ur email with me. Tx boss

Same issue, I have
No confirmation on the upfront medical, no request or confirmation from IRCC, no updates on eligibility

Well I pray for positive response for both of them. For my bro, eligibility started then he got his medical passed. Then silence till now. We can only be optimistic

Try calling ircc call center and tell them to update your medicals in your file.

Please how did you send mails and web forms?
Please send me the email
And what were you saying in the web forms please

Here’s what I did:
I sent 2 mails each to the ircc Nairobi & Abuja offices everyday and 2 webform a day until they responded or acted upon my diff requests.
abuja@international.gc.ca
nrobi-immigration@international.gc.ca
Though, I saw somewhere in this thread where another NLander shared like 6 ircc emails.
This is the webform link:
https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=Nairobi
The content of the mail & webform were the same.
Like a formal letter, I began with my name, stating my UCI and application number & when I submitted. Then the body of the letter is where I mentioned my request or enquiry. Then closed the letter by thanking the officer & mentioning what I was looking forward to.
Then ended with a Yours Sincerely & my name.
Sorry for the late reply.

Why bother them when the application is still within processing time?

What happens if you send a webform before the end of your due processing timeline??
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Holywizard: 10:04pm On Aug 08, 2023
I got admission in the Canadian institute of management and technology (CIMT) and I've started my processes for so long.
Is it true that I may not be offered work permit after graduation?

I honestly don’t know.
The 3 occasions we sent webforms were for them to send hubby’s BIL, update our medicals & 6 weeks post-application.

Hello House.

I want to start my POF for one year study in Canada the cost is around CAD $19,000.

How much do I need for POF and can I use my RiseVest and USD domiciliary account?

The school starts on 4th May next year and I want to start the Visa by first week of January.

Thank you.

Guru in the house I hail, I will need a candid opinion about this, my sister was refused visa for the sept intake due to insufficient funds it was stated categorically on the NOTE we ordered. Now I’m thinking she should apply for Nov intake in another school since she deferred sept till next September because the program is only in September.
What do you think?
One of the issue is that the money gathered before was returned but we can get them back, do you think if would have a negative impact on the second application?
What do you think I can do as a sister here (PR) to help in her favour
Thank you

The part where you stated “the money gathered were returned” honestly off me. Insufficient fund according to what I have come to realize isn’t just literal. It also means that the VO is not convinced that the money will be available and senses credit demonstration. Make sure you explain your source of funds clearly with evidences. I will advice you differ the admission to next Sept. so you have enough time to plan/organize your application.

Even If the school is not eligible for PGWP, don't panic. Get study permit approval firs, get to Canada. you can always change to a different school. The main thing is getting to Canada then every other thing comes easy.

My wife is a prospective applicant in Saskatchewan polytechnic. Preferred course would be a P.Gd or Masters in Early Childhood education (2 years)for next batch, September 2024. She is 31 yrs of age and is the principal Applicant with B. Arts in English. She would be accompanied by myself (hubby) and our 3 years old daughter. Myself (hubby)would be her sponsor with assistance from her sibling who is a citizen, residing in Saskatchewan. Please I need heads up or advices on probable things to do or not to do before we start the application. Thanks a lot.
