Despite the huge derivation funds, distributed to these states regularly, they still: -top the nation's unemployment rate chart -have uncleared backlogs of gratuities dating as far back as 8years and more -high level of insecurity in the states -thousands of white elephant projects littered across the state SMH....I weep for Akwa Ibom 2 Likes 1 Share |

Those useless and wasteful Governors among them will just squander the peoples money for jamboree projects and Owambe at the expense of the suffering masses and the dead infrastructures.... EFCC should be at Alert and start monitoring the funds because of these thief-thief governors to bring those who shot-change the people to book without delay 4 Likes |

They also spend a lot to clean up oil spillage. The state govt has little left to execute developmental projects after spending a lion share of money on the aforementioned 1 Like |

GeneralPula: God bless you, bro/sis! Bayelsa State has the lowest number of Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Nigeria- only 8- and nothing in that state reflects this huge allocations they receive from regular FAAC, 13% derivation, NDDC, Amnesty Programme, etc, etc. They keep voting rogues... Even if these politicians, who are former and current Governors of Bayelsa State (like Delta State) steal, shouldn't we even see some minimum use of their resources? 6 Likes 1 Share |
