You are both making sense, but sincerely this Canada is not how people used to think it is anymore. Alot of immigrant now which makes it hard to get a minor job. But the truth is, it's better we tell those coming the reality, to get a job here now ma war, so if you can face the struggle pls try n hold funds when coming and still have access to funds in. NIGERIA. I have been in GTA for 4 months on a student visa still never get a job. I have spent upto 3kcad and I don't even pay rent where I'm living. Thinktwicethinkcanada.
This is though with study permit more immigrants are already in the country with open work permits including those from Ukraine due to war and more other immigrants are coming in with Permanent residence through EE and PNP, most of.. will land on menial job First! when they arrive.
No work yet on top of the policy that allows study permit holders to work full time.. is ending 31 December 2023 while one reputable company are making study permit holders aware of this others may follow suit....

Hey NLs,

I need help please
I'm married, my wife works in a bank.
She has an HND degree (polytechnic) from banking and finance.

Lately we have been thinking of relocation to Canada (perhaps through school route)

Our budget is around 7-9 million

Please, we need help with schools that the tuition fees is very affordable.

In that she would be the first to go since I'm raising most of the money (because my own job pays a lot higher) and when all the fees is settled, I hope to join her

Please I need help with school recommendation (based on her course of study and the program we need to apply for)

I honestly do not mind the program cuz the sole aim is to Japa

A course program that's in a good place where we can see a job in a good period of time and start from where we are to where we would need to be via working hard

Please help.
I'm open to questions

Thanks

Is the 7-9 million for school fees alone? If not, You will need to Up ur budget. 7-9 million does not even begin to cut it. that is school fees alone minus living expenses, For school route. U need at least 17m. I mean the very least.

You must use the name on your passport (Fagbohun Mary Funmi). You can provide an affidavit of name change and/or publication for names that are different from what is on your passport.

Thank you so so much.I truly appreciate.

Trust me 95 percent of jobs posted on Indeed are 💯 legit. I never tried LinkedIn I don't know nothing about it, but I want to believe they are re too. I sleep n wake up on Indeed everyday lol. Here is the prob, most canadian organisation requires canadian experience, that does not means if you have no canadian experience u won't get a job o, but having the experience makes it easier. The major problem is just that, immigrant are too much here especially Indians. I can't really say if this shortage of job applies to other places though. One thing I know is that, there's HOPE if one can try hard to endure and come in with enough cash. I have spent 3kcad in 3 months now and I no dey work or pay rent I live with my brothers. Here is not easy but hope dey only for he strong. But I'm sure if you have a skill job it will be more easier. Thanks and enjoy de rest of ur day.

Get out of here with your 3kcad abeg.

It doesn't require a certification from "Province" There are lots of firms that will train and get one certified in a week. Some jobs will even train you in-house.

Also he meant to say 90 percent of jobs posted on indeed are fake. Those jobs aren’t real. They are recycled. That’s why you do not get response from employers. They are mostly automated . And you kept receiving unfortunately…… has moved on. If you are new here canada, do not waste time on indeed. Use google to check for new jobs post within your postal code or areas where you can commute, check jobs post with physical address and phone numbers and call the companies directly and also visit to drop your resume.

Boss I hail. Well in my own case, what happened was that I unliened the account then print the statement and send the soft copy as well with bank reference and after that, I liened it back.

Walk into the bank and print out your statement of account. The amount placed on the lien will reflect, "There is nothing like lien funds". You can use it for your application

I think complexity of applications can cause some sort of delays as well cos, i got mine within 2 weeks.

infact, don't let me say within 2 weeks cos, immediately i applied, I got a Biometric request for my Spouse, mine was delayed. I sent mail sharp sharp when i noticed the biometric request letter for my own application was yet to drop and it came the next day.

On VFS site, the date available for appointment was on the 30th. I did biometrics on the 30th and got PPR on the 31st.

NOTE: I did upfront medicals. I also noticed the IOM did not send my medicals to IRCC. How did i notice, they sent the result confirmation to my email and thank God i went through all the docs shared and i noticed it is only my own result that was missing. Every mail they sent is with 2 documents and only mine came with one. I use call disturb their life before they finally sent me another confirmation email and I believe with that, they've sent to the embasy as well.

What if you upload the IOM results yourself?

I’m a mum of 10 months baby, I got my student visa approved and my baby is suppose to accompany me.
I have booked our flight for December.
I have my fears on how to navigate a new country with a baby as a student, so I was advised to leave my baby behind, when I am fully settled I come back to pick her. Hopefully, my husband would have his visa approved and we leave together.
Please, what do u guys think? Will there be any issues at the airport and immigration if I don’t show up with her? Will I need to change my ticket and are there other things am I supposed to do? I am traveling to British Columbia/ Vancouver.
Please experienced people in the house I need your advice.

Even a Ten year old little kid that can easily enroll in school is a crucial task to migrate, how about a little infant. You won't be able to function well because it will be a heavy burden to navigate with. You need to settle first, whilst your hubby come over with the little one

Congratulations once again
I will like to use my aunt as my sponsor. What documents do I need to present. I have asked this question before but got no response

my aunt is a US and Nigerian citizen. i uploaded notarized letter of sponsorship, work id, drivers license, letter from her employer, 4 months payslips, 7months bank statement, her and my mother's age declaration, birth & marriage certificate, to prove her relationship with my mom as sister (these documents bear the same father's name, mother's name and maiden name before marriage). i also included my birth certificate and age declaration to proof my mom is my mother.

I’m trying to figure out which type of applications gets quick response.
Some application gets decision within 3 - 4 weeks and when people post PPR timelines, they never mentioned if their application is self sponsored or sponsored.
Anyway, I’m just curious though as I am also waiting for a decision and mine is self sponsored.
