Hello please do sponsor still need to submit statement of account for pof after depositing 10k into my cibc for the gic?
Would my sponsor statement of account still be requested for?

It depends if your course exceeds one year, then your sponsor still needs to tender their financial statement to prove their ability to finance subsequent years.

No one has influence over the processing times, your application can be processed within a shorter period given that you've done biometrics and medical simultaneously in the past. Keep the high hopes and be positive.

Is it really helpful doing the upfront medicals .....does it usually have an influence in the final decision because i see most people do upfront

It doesn't have any positive impact in the decision making, it only helps to save time of waiting for the officer to request for it. No other benefits attached.

On the day I did my biometrics, I submitted an email different from the one used for the study permit application. Hope this wouldn't affect anything?

Not at all, they are quite independent, you shouldn't worry over it.

Hello Everyone.

Please, I need your help with this.

I'm currently in school in Canada and my husband who is in Nigeria wants to apply for spousal work permit. I was wondering if I have to apply for him or he should apply by himself. I need to extend my study permit next month, can we apply together?

Your hubby can apply for his visa from his home country. Even if you can apply from there, his application will be taken back to the visa office that are in charge of processing applications from his country of residence. So, its best he applies from his end.

Hello, please I need some help. My brother just gained admission and my husband and I want to be his sponsor, though my mom is still alive. I’m a PR in Canada and I have the proof of funds in CAD. Will his application be denied if I’m his sponsor?

That's great news about your brother's admission! As a Permanent Resident in Canada, you can definitely sponsor your brother's application. Having your mom alive shouldn't affect your eligibility to finance his studies. Just make sure you meet all the sponsorship requirements and provide the necessary proof of funds. It's always a good idea to develop strong ties back home that would compel his return home after studies.

Please anyone here knows any universities in canada for BSc in pharmacy? From my research I can only see PhD in pharmacy in most universities but not Bsc.

PLEASE HELP IF YOU KNOW ANY

You can't get a direct pharmacy course in Canada, you can only see Pre-Pharmacy programs at University of Regina, Thompson Rivers University and amongst others.

I need a help from you.
I'm 36years of age based in Qatar. my wife is in Nigeria. I have O’level(WAEC 2008) as my qualification. I also have HSE, First Aid, and Lifting Supervisor certificates. I have the money to cover my POF, I have a job that I'm doing here with LOE.
My question is, what are the possibilities and the program(S) and institutions that could accept me to move with my wife to Canada to study?

Pls, I need good and genuine advice from you.

Going by your profile, I'll suggest you applying for an Ontario College Diploma in a field that is directly relevant to your current experience in the health care sector. Check Niagara College or Conestoga College for their college programs.

When using company sponsorship, does the company need to send some money into the applicant's personal account or the company's documents will suffice? Thanks 🙏

When it comes to company sponsorship, it's not necessary for the company to send money into the applicant's personal account. Usually, the company's documents, such as a sponsorship letter or financial statements, are sufficient to demonstrate the company's commitment to supporting the applicant. However, it's always a advisable to use someone that is closely related than a third party Sponsorship. All the best.

Yes, you can definitely use funds in your cooperative account as part of your proof of funds. It's great that you're planning to attach the statement of account from your cooperative account along with your other bank account statements from a commercial bank. Including multiple sources of funds can strengthen your application. Just make sure that the cooperative account meets the requirements set by the immigration authorities. Good luck with your application!

It's a straightforward process, you can do so through applyboard or contacting the designated agents of the school.

Hey everyone,

Hope you're doing well. I need your advice or suggestions regarding a situation my friend is facing. He got his passport stamped on November 10th from VSF, but so far, there's been no correspondence or introduction letter. Any thoughts on what he should do next?

Appreciate any help or insights you can provide!

You can do both. I think they send to the relevant office if they are nt the ones handling.
The most important thing is to write.

Canfulfilment:

Please do you know who I should write? Lagos, Nairobi, or webform?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Baphil: 5:13pm On Nov 21, 2023
Please write them. That's the least you can do and then pray.

Kimzy4u:
Congratulations to you.

Good day gurus in the house. I want to apply for a 2 years Diploma, fall 2024 for my wife soonest. I would be her sponsor. I have been getting her documents ready for submission. My worry is she precisely has 9 years study gap presently. She graduated the university in 2014. Afterwards she went for her NYSC, job search, she worked for a while, became independent and did her personal business, got married, raised our baby girl and now stable to study. Would the 9 years study gap (10 years by next year) jeopardize our chances of pursuing studying and moving to Canada? Please help a brother. I need advices from gurus in the house. Thanks a lot. It's urgent. Shalom!!!

The bolded sounds like a good advice However study permit extension in Canada processing time can take 4 to 5 months to finish that means the hubby has to wait..for her study permit to be approved before the hubby application is submitted outside canada..if she is a continuing student IRCC will issue permit on length of program stated on enrollment letter.. permit start counting from the date previous permit expires!!
If they apply together IRCC will start processing her hubby application outside Canada will likely complete his background check before the time study permit is approved ..then wait for the study permit to be approved to issue visa to the spouse this will save time in future application..the hubby can even do upfront medical exam in the process..
The screenshot below is to show processing time in Canada application study permit and open work permit extension only..

First was on financial ground, which was a mistake on my end. When I order GCMS note it was exactly on the error in document I did.

Now I corrected everything used a good detail POF of about 85kUSD account, the account is also a running account. (Sponsored by my cousin in the US, I also proof relationship)
I uploaded my admission letter
Stated I have my parents and family here in Nigeria.
A study leave document from my place of work, stating I will come back to them.
Paid deposit on my tuition fee

What could have been the problem

Hello good people, I am trying to book an Upfront medical for my daughter and I at IOM. But the booking form won't let me proceed further as it asking for my IME number, which I don't have for obvious reasons. How can I get pass this stage?
