megawealth01: As you bet (invest/gamble) on Oando and as you go home after the day's work, please remember to say a prayer for Oando and all its stakeholders today. What God cannot do or influence does not exist! Chat to you after court tomorrow. There should be no more adjournments at the court. ''Hakuna matata''! no worries, whatever would be will be. We still dey die there, as someone says here on this platform! 2 Likes |

emmanuelewumi: Pray so that the judge, SEC, Wale and other stakeholders would do the right thing to favour shareholders. At this moment, this Oando matter is not only about knowledge and information. The antics, whims, caprices, mischief, sentiments, emotions, biases of so many people are involved. After the court judgement is come and gone, then we can go back to knowledge and information analyses What God cannot do does not exist! 4 Likes |

emmanuelewumi:You are somewhat right. Those of us in the bus are not unaware that "the matter get as e be". Some of us are relatively over-loaded. I guess that's why we also pray. Bet, invest, gamble, speculation all in one. OANDO |

mikeapollo: Praying is in order !!! Even in court, they use the word pray. Also in local general meetings (AGMs inclusive) they pray at beginning and at end. May the court answer our prayers tomorrow. The best answer will be to strike off the whole buy out thing. And instruct minority shareholders that elect to sell to do so in the market as OANDO is one of the most actively traded stocks on the exchange. As one of the key purpose of the exchange is the disposal and buying of shares of PLCs. Buy out case struck off and closed. 2 Likes |

veecovee:Alhaji is not bringing the refinery soon to the market. He is not even ready to give the government more shares in the refinery. That was what created all that whahala of supplying crude by government to the refinery. He is not rabiu mate in the world rating. The nse when he settles down he knows how to place rabiu to his class 1 Like |

It will be inappropriate to delist Oando when Wale's uncle is pleading to foreign investors to invest in Nigeria. What signal will Oando send to wary investors if they delist from NSE at this time? It doesn't make sense, hence will not fly! 2 Likes |

Hogwarthtrades:Alhaji would prefer his holding structure in refinery to be like that of Dan cement. And with the already 20% gone it is not possible. So how many percent will he now still give to investing public. You can see the manipulation rabiu is doing in his companies because of his share holding. Why do you think alhaji valued the shares of his sole rice business more to sugar in the merger of Dan food..1 rice is equivalent to 11 sugar without telling us what is the value of the rice company and what iit is bringing to the table like we know what nascon is bringing via its financial statement. .Though rice is not a public company but it should still have financial statements for us to review. 2 Likes 1 Share |
