Sorry for that. That one of the challenges one faces in school. I also had a carry over in my days and that did not deter me from graduating. You are not the first person to get carry over and you are not the last person to carry over. You should accept the carry over in good faith and work towards having a good grade in carry over course as well as have good grades in your other papers.

Although I never had a carry over but I remember having a D grade in one of my course, I wanted to leave the university..Now o think about it and I laugh at myself. Funny enough I am not even working with that certificate...As an adult now, I can't even count how many times I have failed at different things .it's normal to feel bad about a poor grade but it doesn't define who you are.Pit yourself together,you will be fine

I had 3 carryovers at once in 100level. One of them was Economics; a borrowed course, I'm terrible at calculations. Wrote it till 300level before finally passing.

You can waive it. Only the c.o is going to affect you g.p just briefly not for life.
So there's still room for improvement.

Calm down... Don't be depressed, carryover is nothing.
Panicking will make you to even start having issues with other courses.
Just increase the effort you put in your studies.
Register the course next session and ensure you have some level of attendance, read and retake the exam.

I know how you feel, I felt the same thing when I got carryover in my second semester 200L, mine was even worst. I got 28 out of 100, it was like a dent in my academic career. I had 7 As out of 9 I did that semester though.

After that carryover grade in the course, I said to myself that I must have a perfect semester to atone the dent, that is, a semester with all As in my courses. To me, this will be the only way to makeup for that CO. I tried all I could from my 300 level, up till my 500l first semester, I couldn't achieve this, closest I was was 4.92. I lost the zeal to further pursue this.

Second semester 500l known for being highly eventful, excess thesis written and defenses left and right, I wouldn't bother on this promise I made to myself again, I would read normally because there was no stressing myself again. Wrote all my papers later that semester, they wouldn't let us see our final semester results normally, just a graduating list when it is ready to know our fate. I got my transcript after our convocation, I found out that I actually wrote 5.0 in that final semester, I got a sigh of relief and I could forgive myself for that 200l carryover.

I didn't make first class, my CGPA was above 4.0.

I’m a student of university of Lagos A fresher 100l Faculty of Education Human Kinetics during my registration stuffs after Physical screening my phone got stolen and I couldn’t get information and the school closed for the year not until January I found out that the course registration has closed what can I do please
