This one is a beast, I installed a large 85L capacity CNG tank in the boot. It fills up at over 23SCM. It does 246km on 23SCM ₦4,600 (IBAFO - Benin )

It's a Camry 2012 with a 2GR V6 Engine 3.5L.

Again for clarity 246Km on ₦4600

I'm surprised people allow you do this to their cars. The small sticker should be enough.

This mileage improvement, is it because of cng gas only or combination of CNG and good Engine.?

I mean after installation fo u still service the Engine to Ensure efficiency or just plug and play

Just a cheaper fuel called CNG.

Has nothing to do with the Engine .

You get savings of up to 70percent on every Naira

Pls whats the item called?and what does it do

That's a purge valve for older toyota like the Siena and corolla 2007 downwards. Not sure if any later model uses it. It is controlled by the ecu and once there is enough fuel vapor build up in the canister, ecu will send power to it and it opens up to let the excess fuel vapor to be burned.

Una wey dey Abuja get hope pass us wey dey further up north. I wonder with this snail speed, when the FG would be able to get these CNG refill stations to our locations. I envy Lagos folks.

Today I concluded a trip I started on Sunday.

Average distance covered was 500miles (800km)

Highway drive 90percent of the time.

Petrol used 40L.

This represents 47miles per gallon

Or

20KM per Litre.

Next target on same vehicle is 600miles (965km)

So I beat this record.

I covered a distance of 540miles ( 869km) 93per highway driving.

Filled up with 40L on the dot .

This represents 21.7 KM/L

Or

51.1miles per gallon .

Hoping to get to the 1000km mark on 40L next.

This represents

This is where is stopped.

Now I Installed CNG in same vehicle , will post results weekend when I hit the hoghways smiley

I have refilled. 444.5 with 49 litres. All city driving. I will be embarking on a journey soon to see it's highway performance [/quote

Haha.. 😂 Found you here again.

Last week I did 321kms with 22 litres. Combined traffic, with AC sometimes, Shafa filling station. I don't remember the exact kms but my car did 31MPG.

I bought 30 litres on Monday at NNPC, I don't like buying at NNPC though. I am at 355kms now (221) miles approx 27.8MPG and I'm at quarter tank...

All fuel was gotten when reserve light came on.

No be me o. We met on the Honda maintance thread.
Besides 55 litres of fuel for 390kms which I belive is mostly highway is outrageous..

I got 320kms with 22 litres on my own car.
