With the removal of subsidy on pms, every one is now very conscious of the amount spent on fueling a vehicle. How it works. State vehicle model, engine size and transmission type. State vehicle tank size . Know your vehicle tank size and fill up to first click and stop. Do not overfill. Reset mileage to zero Keep driving and when the amber light for reserve fuel comes up note the mileage again. Post info here and compare with other owners of similar vehicles . Let us individually upload and track our mpgs. Kindly note that some cars are calibrated in KM and some in miles, so not mix it up. You can also indicate if you drove in city or on the highways. Let me take the first swing. Vehicle make/model: Toyota Prius 2009 hybrid Tank size : 45L Reserve light indicator: 11L Amount of fuel to be used 34L Engine size 1.5L @110Hp I will be doing city driving only in Lagos . Target is about 600km on 34L. 5 Likes 1 Share

We dey hia with our popcorn and grade weed. We follow you thru the whole journeys Baba. If that car mark 600 on 34, I'm getting it Meanwhile,while at it, enlighten us on the pros and cons. eherbal: Real fuel cost for 100 miles =petrol cost + monetary value of Hybrid battery depreciation for that distance. As you dey chop awoof mpg for Prius, sha keep aside the money you save on fuel for a hybrid battery replacement down the line.. Op is a Kazeem.. He can afford to service and replace the hybrid system himself and thus drastically cut cost of servicing.. But can you? Nothing is free even in Freetown 22 Likes |

Please I want to know based on people's experience if 7.5 litre per 100km or 28 miles per gallon will be possible on Toyota Camry 2013 four cylinder on the Lagos-Ibadan express way (Redemption camp -Oregun-Redemption Camp) once the current heavy traffic congestion is over on that axis. Thanks |

2008 Honda Accord, catalyst intact and no check engine light or any light on the dashboard. 18mpg city. I've done everything to improve the mpg which is supposed to be 21mpg according to the manual but no changes. 1 Like |
