Japa is still possible but you need to target country like Brazil. Go there, rebuild and move to your dream country. Delay is not denial

Brazil is like 8 million o. As of last year, 3 million will move you there. You need at least a year of rent and food so you dont get stranded.

Its not easy getting sponsored too from Nigeria. Doctors is even worst. You need at least 15 million to write exams to qualify as a doctor to move abroad.

True but the more you work the more the naira loses value. Even the top consultants in Nigeria dont earn up to 1200 USD a month. Japa is impossible for them talk less of junior doctors.

Who is mocking who? Check our www.cspan.org and listen to Washington Journal in the morning. You will hear enough lamentations. My point is simple...all that glitters is not gold. The pain and suffering you are talking about is happening all over the world. Some have housing vouchers, food stamp support, organizations that supply food and donate food...yet the same abroad ...look up homeless populations, level of violence, drug use and so on....kidnappings nko, you will think it doesn't exist but it happens in sane countries. My point is...let no one sell you paradise...anyone that want to japa should japa, and face the consequences of what you see...don't believe in fake news and misinformation.

faceland:

Please can you stop mocking us?

In my life time, just 8 years ago before the cursed Buhari came, $1 was N180. Your bloody light bill is 40k and internet 14k just 8years ago so why use this inflated current naira to insult people's intelligenc? We are suffering because salary is the same but the money is losing value WEEKLY.

For example, ordinary insecticide is 2k or 4k. To you, it is less than $2 only, to a fresh graduate it is more than 6% of their income and 4% of the income of a soldier sent to fight Boko Haram with family obligates.

If you go to fancy restaurants and tip $20 you are an average tipper back in the days, you are a generous giver but today that is the waiters one month salary.

Besides our internet is shit. I have never in my life use above 3G... USA quality internet is available for USA price... I am sure you use heavy gadgets and even washing machine that if a Nigerian use here in Nigeria they would have similar bills.

The problem is the country you went to. There are cheaper countries even in europe but you chose UK. Anyway as bad as it is there, I still believe the UK suffering get expiry date. Nigeria suffering is for eternity.

You create jobs.

You can make a killing with farming and lots of cheap labor. You can open a store or restaurant. Try to work and save a little money and then look for a good business you can do.

Also pray hard that after making money kidnappers doesn't eat it after raping and killing hostage.

Imagine after suffering to earn, you have to pray to God for protection because their is no justice for the weak here.

If the person telling you not to travel is still overseas (meaning they haven't vex and say "foooq this, I am going back to my fatherland"), don't dwell on what they say (strictly for rising Nigerians not big men trying to start all over again overseas).

See I have seen lecturers, bankers, engineers,, nurses, who sold houses, lands cars etc but still like a year now no job... Like I have discussed with them on one on one. We shared gist and they voice their frustration and only hope it gets better some day here.

Some families are fighting saying to each other na u make me leave my job come.

Am not saying this to those who wishes to travel but no fund. Mam talking to those millionaires that might think of selling their house not to try it.

Please if you are reading this please don't sell ur house.

And if u must travel have skills like carpenter, joiner, welder, plumber this skills we look down on in Nigeria and get certification to in that field to back it up

If your future lies in the hands of this nation, then the future of the nation should lie in your hands.

This is not time to sit on your hands moping. This is the time to turn the challenges into opportunities.

Envying people that have left the country is not wise. For even they are not free from the rat race and lifestyle of survival.

who wouldn't?

you can earn peanuts there and do real stuff here still. imagine erecting mansions while doing a low paying job in your japa destination.

Even with the acclaimed low paying jobs, people are still living decently. There is no significant gap between the rich and the poor. A warehouse operative can afford same apartment that a banker rents. Anyone can afford buying a car through manual jobs. Living abroad has its own challenges but the difference is clear if one wants to be sincere.

Thanks you. U said it it all.
People just come online to deceive people to sell their houses, leave their well paid jobs and venture into the unknown.

I made this mistake and I am regretting right now.

Please if you have a well paid job. Please and please remain in Nigeria
The question you should ask yourself was "how many Nigerians get well paid job? Very very few. Besides, people migrate for different reasons. Some don't want to be kidnapped or got killed by bandits. Some don't want to end their lives in our death trap road. I can always go on and on
