Mpeace: Even if it is $1 million, it is commendable. If we had many indigenous companies like that repatriating funds from foreign operations, Nigeria would be in a much better position. 5 Likes |

ositadima1:It is no droubt commendable, and I cannot in anyway criticise dangote for that. I only have reservations on the fact that our biggest export is not substantial enough as to affect the exchange rate. It also goes to the question of why the british pounds is valued higher than our currency. British companies bring in over 50billion pounds per year while ours is less than 3billion pounds. |

essentialone: Meyer at 4.30 but Bids and Offer still weak. Less than 2 million units each. Highly illiquid. Stocks that are difficult to buy, today may also be difficult to sell off tomorrow. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by mikeapollo: 10:59am On Feb 02 |
BabsO2: Please let us allow Oando rest small. Today Oando, tomorrow Oando. The noise don too much. Enough of both convictions and doubts had been expressed about Oando. Let interested parties take a decision and then wait and see what happens. Just kidding, lol |

We the locals they try for this nse.If government gets it right and foreign investors come really join the market. Na shout of joy go full everywhere. On another note transcorp go be something else in 5 yrs from now.i have a feeling the government will get it right with time on this forex thing. The black market will then die a natural death. Naija my country is destined for greatness. I have faith in her for turn around. It will be a gradual process. Never a fan of this government but it can't be as bad as pmb government 4 Likes |

When stocks are on full bid or full offer, it is advisable you exercise caution.............Someone here once asked: How it is possible for a stock to go from FULL OFFER to FULL BID in a twinkle of an eye. Well, i did a little experiment on a stock just now and some people rushed in.........What did i do? I launched up about 30 different Bids on a stock at various quantities ranging from 250,000 to 500,000 units on a stock that have been promoted here. This made the BID QUANTITY to be more than 15 times the OFFER QUANTITY with a price range just a bit below the best offer price. Guess what happened: People started fighting to outbid me ,; while i was strategically outbidding them in bits without actually buying anything. In the frenzy, they ended up grabbing the nearest offer prices and pushing the price way above the opening price of today. I then proceeded to cancel all my bids and the BID Quantity to OFFER Quantity ratio went from 15:1 in split seconds to 2:1. I believe this is how the big dogs create artificial demand and supply for fools to either rush in or jump out. So please, trade with caution, buy with reason and do your own due diligence..... A word is enough for the wise. Thank You 23 Likes 3 Shares |
