Wait, you became current in January 2024 bulletin, how come you received the 60 days notice? Is there something i am missing?

What is your class of Visa? Is your priority date current?

No news yet , I was hoping they’d pick up the pace since the last time they called people was in sept 2023 and postponed interviews till Jan 2024.

Is well. Applying from Nigeria seems to be a great challenge. God will help us.

Any idea about EB1 interview wait times? How long from DQ to interview invite?
Re: USA Employment-based Immigration (EB-1,EB-2,EB-3 Visa) by RandD(m): 2:44pm On Feb 04
Congratulations! The wait is worth it indeed.
Koldfuzhion:

The interview went well, I received the visa approval. I got to the Lagos consulate 30mins before the interview time. The CGI folks checked my appointment letter to ensure that I was scheduled for the day. Once confirmed, I was allowed in and told to arrange my documents in the order described in the interview invitation mail.

When I got into the visa hall. I was initially called for document verification at a window. All of my original documents were collected including my original school certificates. These were compared with the information that I submitted to NVC which had been mailed to them.

Once done, I was told to sit and wait till my number was called. There was no particular order to the way that applicants were called for the interview with the consular officers. After an hour, I was called by one of the officers.Below are some of the questions he asked:

Have you ever lived in any other country for more than 6 months?
Are you currently employed and where do you work?
How many years of experience do you have?
Where are you going to in the US and what are you going to do there?
Do you have any professional certifications along with your academic credentials?
Have you ever changed your name?
Do you have other dependents that aren't applying with you?

Good day everyone. It's been a while here. I see people asking about when IL will come. I think @adedammy009 has already provided a clue. In my own opinion and observation, I think it is safe to say IL for this category may now flow along the quarterly VB. So my next guess is March/April, then June/July, etc.

Hello Everyone,
I'm a first timer here. I'm processing EB2 NIW from Nigeria. After getting my EB2 NIW approved, I submitted my documents to NVC and received response that I would be contacted when there is a visa number in US Consulate in Lagos for me. I will like to know whether this is the same as being documentary qualify (DQ)?

I appreciate the feedback. Thanks a bunch.
Since I received the DQ notice in the month of November 2023, it means I have spent more than 60 days waiting.

I have over 10 Years experience as an IT Support Manager in an Aviation Company in Nigeria.
I have a Masters in IT Management with a Distinction from the University of Sunderland
A B.Sc. in Computer Science
I am a Member of the British Computer Society
I am a Scrum Master.
I have a computing award I received while in Uni and I can also still get recommendation letters from the Aviation sector based on my work in the industry.
Am I qualified to apply for the EB2 VISA? What are my chances of succeeding?

Yes you do qualify , its quiet expensive if you use a lawyer , I used a lawyer and premium processing and got approved in 4 days , I am in IT also and I dont have a phd .

However you need realistic excpectations from applying to getting a green card can be over 2-3 years with current back log and priority date.

Lawyer fees are now like 6500 usd average which is expensive , premium processing is over 2800 now also.

check the lawyer I used talk about my case.

..I think there are cheaper options than lawyers now ..especially if you live in NIgeria and the dollar rate is not smiling 7k usd is over 8m naira.

Hello everyone, I have done WES evaluation but I have not received the report yet. Is it possible to include unofficial WES evaluation report, which I downloaded from my dashboard, along with my EB2 NIW petition? I chose standard delivery method while applying for the credential evaluation.

Pls can someone help me with the link for any telegram group for EB categories?
