kerry57: We're the one destroying Naira by ourselves and we blame Tinubu. A woman was paid her retirement benefits last December. Federal Govt through her Pension Administrator paid her #8.3m from her Contribution Pension. This woman took #7.5m out of the money to BDC at Wuse Zone 4 to convert it to Dollars even at about#1100 then. It's not that she wants to travel or buy anything overseas. You can see the implications of the action of the woman, the pressure on Dollar supply. Definitely we're the one responsible for whatever we see. Many of those hoarding dollars don't really need it. 1 Like |

Coolestguy2023: I agree that the Igbos are pained that you yorubas are supporting a known criminal and certificate forger. Is it their fault? Or you forgot how this same Tinubu used his influence to demarket Jonathan in 2015 and thereafter brought Buhari who you all have maximum support to inflict pain on all Nigerians. For your information, it's not only Igbos that were disenfranchised. The North as well are not happy with Tinubu and the SW. You will do well to admit the truth: The Igbos have nothing to gain from Tinubu's failure but you don't have the right to condemn them after what you people did to bring in another disaster in the person of Tinubu to continue inflicting everyone (including you) with more suffering. I am civil towards you because you were civil. Leave the Igbos and other dissatisfied ethnic groups. They have the right to serve Tinubu the same thing he did to Jonathan. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Racoon: I'll always say this; The problem of Nigerian is not even the politicians primarily, but those fools around them who call themselves big time lawyers, professors, men of God ( I am a pastor myself) and educated elites. Politicians have shown times without number that they are inconsistent in terms of the word "good" but those classes of people keep advocating for them. Politicians only see good when they are out of office, or hoping to get there. Once they get there, they see differently [seeing only what benefits them]. By next election, even those criticising this Government would become their apt supporters when their terminal dues are paid or senate prayers enters their mailboxes 1 Like |

Tinubu do practical things to reduce costs of fuel, rice, beans, yam, garri, accommodations, if things go out of consumer's reach, the real economy suffers and more people are plunged into lack. Right now politicians are living like kings, with their cronies that own big businesses, while small businesses and the people are bearing the brunt. 1 Like |

Coolestguy2023:Oga, stop reasoning like a nitwit... You have been praying for Nigeria for ages and what has that got you? Evil, more evil and demonic rulers... The sensible thing you should do is to ensure that good men ascend power...When you do that, 90 percent of your prayers would have been answered... You dont fight and kill to enthrone satanic leaders and then turn round and be wasting your energies and disturbing people's peace with "prayers"... I dont know what you follow but my Bible tells me that God cannot be mocked for what a man soweth, so shall he reap. Pause a moment and do some thinking: I am sure it wont kill you... 3 Likes 1 Share |

kerry57:Oga, any so-called patriotism that detracts from ensuring that good and visionary people get elected to superintend over the country will end up like taking an excursion to a fool's paradise. Vote incompetent people into power 1 million times.... and one million times you will have the same outcome.... Get your priorities right or keep wallowing in the morass of dysfunctionality and inexorable failure... 1 Like 1 Share |

This morning I was asking myself, what is the meaning of home? I asked myself, if there is chaos where I presently stay/live, where do I run to? Many Nigerians in Ukraine, Sudan, Syria et al whether citizens there, had to run to Nigeria as their home. What if it is Nigeria that is burning (God forbids it though)...I was caught in the middle of SAP riots as a junior secondary school student in 1989, and lost two friends /agemates to that crisis due to actions of security personnel. Back to my question. The answer I got, is that I would find my way back to my village, and hope troubles donot get there. IT SHALL BE WELL WITH NIGERIA. |
