good evening house... My wife recently applied for masters in a university in Canada.
Her uncle who also doubles as her boss has decided to sponsor her and is ready to provide all necessary documents. My question is after providing his statement of account and all, does she still need to show that she has funds for POF in her account or her uncles SOA will suffice?

JapaPrince:

according to statistics Canada up to 50% of DLI institutions in Canada are located in the province of Ontario.
Meaning almost 50% of international graduate students are heading to Ontario.
On the other hand Ontario is the most developed province in Canada meaning they have many developed cities in one province. So they have more capacity to take in more students than PEI or SAS.
For sure Ontario will get less students going forward but will still have more students in general because they have more schools.
That's quite insightful, Thanks for your response. Hopefully in the next few weeks there should be a procedure in place.

She needs to submit her SOA showing she is working and earning consistent salaries. Then the uncle will have to demonstrate the availability of whatever funds he has by sending some to her acct to cover atleast 1 year living expenses

Agents are thieves.
Always telling lies from the pit of hell to get paid by hook or crook.

Thank you for your swift response.

Because a friend is saying her agent is asking the husband needs to pay a certain fee to be able to get him a letter that will get him a work permit as a dependant to the wife who is going for masters degree soon.

If you checked IRCC's website, you'd understand that you need to exercise more patience till at most 31st March, 2024

Good morning,

You can only get attestation letter if the province you want to study already developed a process to get it. As of now, only Quebec province already has its process done. The deadline for provinces to develop a process to get attestation letter is March 31st, 2024. Do your research and keep your eyes on the province you want to study.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by JMG12: 9:39am On Feb 07
Yes, she needs to submit her SOA and let her account carry the higher percent of the POF. The uncle can transfer 70–80% of the money to her account

After my friend's visa was denied twice, we were bewildered, so I contacted @JMG12, and happily, his visa was approved today.

Date of first refusal June30 2023

Date of second refusal October 5 2023

Timeline
LOA
6 months bank statement
Property valuation from one of his properties while the deed of assignment and land document
LOE to address the error on the misrepresentation of his finance (available balance was 66,600 but the VO wrote 7,188 on the GCMS note with screenshot) and also explain the reason for using his personal account instead of corporate acct.
SOP
Invoices
CAC
Notarized affidavit of return and temporary position handover
Birth certificate
Degree certificate and transcript
Receipt of first semester tuition deposit
Certificate of training
Tax certificate
Family pic
Proof of ownership for my two cars
Fiancée pic and id
NYSC certificate
CV… these are the ones I can remember but in all @JMG12 did a good job appreciation to him and his team, God bless you abundantly.

Did VFS sent you an acknowledgment mail and tracking number? If yes, you need to send them webform about your concerns.

Her uncle who also doubles as her boss has decided to sponsor her and is ready to provide all necessary documents. My question is after providing his statement of account and all, does she still need to show that she has funds for POF in her account or her uncles SOA will suffice?

My uncle sponsored me too, I am married with kids, I have Gtb and First bank accounts, I didnt present any, yet my visa was approved.
I believe when you present too many documents sometimes you shoot yourself on the foot, cos if her uncle is sponsoring her and he has enough money to cover her pof and still have substantial balance, what is her account doing there again?

Good evening guys, i just got my notes...kindly weigh in pls.

1yrs program, self sponsor, traveling alone.
Tuition 14k Cad...paid 6k cad. POF 29m.

Source of funds...my 5yrs old biz, registerd and active. Biz documents provided...cert of incorporation, memert, form cac 1.1, annual return receipts, biz instagram handle, prev promo fliers, screenshots of messages showing customers orders, 4months sales invoice, savings account showing pmt from customers and pmt to my suppliers.

I avoided TCC, i don't use my company account due to charges.

I also mentioned i worked in the bank for 8yrs before going into biz.

Due to file size, i uploaded my proof of source of income/biz documents under photo id section. I removed it from POF section because i couldnt compress further. I dont know if this very act is the reason why i was denied.

Pls is reconsideration a viable option for me?

Contributions pls.
