My only issue with CeX is their exploitative tendencies.
CeX will buy an iPhone for £100 from a customer, and sell same for £250.
I would still prefer Facebook marketplace (with eyes wide open and only pay after I have collected and tested the item, never ever ever bank transfer). Or eBay.

I disagree, pay by bank transfer for record keeping in case things goes wrong with the deal.

Cash payment is a bad idea

Wait Justwise… pay by bank transfer, to someone you just ‘met’ on Facebook marketplace?
That is a No.No for me

For me, Facebook marketplace is a community market. I only buy from sellers who are near enough for me to meet at the town centre or the pub or under the fourth lion on Trafalgar Square.

I actually like Ebay. You just need to buy from a reliable and well known seller with good reviews. Never buy from an individual seller.

If there's a dispute, eBay would deal with it for you. I buy my laptops from Ebay

I guess there is some mix up in my presentation.
What I actually meant was:

1. I will never pay by bank transfer untill and unless I have met the person. Inspected the good(s), and I am satisfied.

2. I will never pay via PayPal or bank transfer to an account supplied via Facebook.

3. I can pay cash if I meet the seller at the town centre, or the retail park. And I test the goods. And I am happy with the items.

I agree with your number one point but disagree with the rest.

2. It doesn't matter whether the account details were given to you in facebook or in church, if your bank accepts the bank details then no prob.

3. Its a bad idea to make cash payment to an item you bought from facebook, if anything goes wrong with that deal you have no cover or evidence. If you are unlucky and someone sold stollen item to you and police get involved you are in a big mess. retail park or town centre is not shop or business address. Collect from an address so as to have a cover.

Agreed! Most time it is the seller that is cheated not the buyer as they sell at a competitive market price. I used Cex for buying as quality is guaranteed plus you have got warranty if anything happens.

Is it about training..... Remember, those girls stole their passports and headed down to become jihadi brides........ Then go war front, go collect........ 🤣😁

Most importantly, keep your children's passports, out of reach.....

If the family are atheists, what do they train their children with/on....... 🤣😜

Years ago this lady's case generated a massive argument here, many Nigerians in this thread supported this terrorist.

I'm glad that the govt won again.

Very glad too.

The entire case is a travesty and an insult to the victims who lost life and limb due to the murderous actions of she and her ilk.

Wallsend is good and has some Africans around.
It's going to be the priciestin terms of rent for the places you mwmtikned and it has good transport links.

Durham is beautiful and picturesque.

Bishop Auckland woild be cheap but far from other towns and cities, fewer blacks.

I know nothing about Killingworth except that bus 63 and 63 go there.

Cheers.

This country tolerate a lot from certain people. Her parents are still living here happily but the blood hungry little rat traveled to kill innocent souls. Strangely some expect the govt to welcome her back.

Why?

That's the easiest way to fall into scam. I have seen some people who have no history of selling anything on there listing the latest iPhone. They might be genuine but I would run.
