She can use her ties with a church or mosque, is her husband still alive? Does she have any animals? Any association she belongs to? The reasons stated here are very generic. More importantly, I think she might as well add a letter to the application.

Thank you so much. I followed your advice and added an introduction letter. She has gotten her visa. That agent ehn.

Yes, no problem.

She should only extend her ticket after she had passed immigration and entered the UK

Hi all, my mom got a 6 month visa to attend my graduation this month. Although the main reason is for her to help with the children so my wife can work. I stated in her application that she’ll be staying for a month. Is it okay for her to stay longer than 1 month?

St Nicolas is nice, me and my wife did ours their, but the result takes 24hours to come out. They will first send the soft copy to your email, then you come physical with your receipt for the hardcopy.

Noted that the hardcopy is what you will use for your visa application because it is stamped, but they don't stamp the soft copy.

Cashmadam:

They are also okay.

Thanks so much guys. I did it yesterday. It was very fast. Result already sent toyail today. Hardcopy will be ready by Monday.

Please house, I’m finding it difficult to book an appointment for my biometrics ( self service Abuja ) on TLS. Do I need to pay a fee to proceed ??

Am filling my 8 months old child visa application and i said she is not the owner of that email which is mine though. Hope that's not a problem ? They will still forward all correspondence to that email i guess so?

secondly my middle name did not appear in full in my marriage certificate. The middle name was shorten with the initial . Will i have to do an affidavit for this.

Lastly some persons advised i should not use financial transactions and whatsapp chats as evidence of our continued relationship, that i can use other means like whatsapp call logs and pictures? From experienced people here how true is this?.

Are you going to leave that to chance or are you backing all you wrote and addressed in a cover letter?

Abuja doesn't need any extra payment nah, it's just the visa you are required to pay for. Unless you thought you won't pay before going for your biometrics, I don't see where you could possibly be experiencing this hitch

Hi all,

Pls, my elder brother is an Aluminum Fabricator, a glazier, and also a roofer with over 19 years of work experience across the vocations. He wants to continue his trade in uk through the skilled visa route. He has both Waec May/June and Neco Nov/Dec (he did the neck last year) results/certificates. He has Trade Tests 3, 2, and 1 in Aluminum Fabrication. He also has an Apprenticeship Certificate in the same trade (earned after 3 years of training)

His International Passport is almost ready.

We are about to start applying for jobs in his trades in the UK.

Doing IELT has become a tall order given the new price, and the fact that he's been out of secondary for over 21 years.

I wanted to ask if a letter of proficiency in the English language from his secondary school will suffice as proof to the employers and for visa application after getting a Certificate of sponsorship from his potential employer.

He should better go and prepare to write the IELTS as plan B if all else fails.

Hello good people. Please pardon me for asking already answered questions. I can't really start reading all those thousand pages. It's my wife's graduation and we are inviting her sister. The sister is not working, so we are funding the stay. How much is needed in the account? We intend using both our accounts as one may not have much funds. Hope that's possible? She's going to be staying in our house, a 3 bedroom house. So, how do we write the IV letter, both of us signing one letter or my wife writes and I write another showing my consent and support? About home ties, is one having a 5 year old enough ties, if it is, what evidence is needed?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Saeed348(m): 8:47pm On Mar 02
Thank you for your prompt response. I have paid for the visa application already (152 USD) .
No regular appointments. The options are for premium and prime time appointment which requires payment .

He asked you a very simple question, answer accordingly. Definite right is not a visa. Which visa is your brother? Definite right is not a visa.

Hello everyone,
Please I need your advice.
I'm a divorced woman here in Nigeria with 2 kids but my passport is still in my ex name. I want to visit my boyfriend in UK.
1. Can I travel with the said passport or I should get another one?
2. He's going to provide all documents, because my bank statements is weak. Can this be allowed?
It's just a visit, when I come back I might apply for study visa and go back.
Please advise me accordingly

Thank you.

Thank you.

Red flags

1) He is only your boyfriend!

2) You can't afford the trip.

You are better off going as a student altogether if it is successful than this trivial expensive visit.

I can only advise you that this is a refusal waiting to happen.
This trip you cannot afford will only serve to blemish your travel history.

Why not settle down now and process the passport whilst you are in Nigeria. Travel to other African countries sef(you can do ECOWAS tourism) and build some travel history hopefully when you are done, you quickly apply for your student visa and go and see your boyfriend.

How does that sound?!

Experts in the house. Kindly advise. I made visiting application from the UK for my mum. She had her bio at Ikeja 30/1/2024. Yet to hear from ukvi or TLS. I have been tracking since, nothing yet. Does it take this long? What next step do you suggest I take.
Thanks all

UKVI said decision has been made and that I should contact TLS directly for the return of document. TLS is not saying anything meaningful… just a generic email saying they may have not been officially communicated to by UKVI. What else can I do please.

When was it delivered to TLS on the website and marked green?

Please guys, My wife forgot to upload only ECTIS as Health visa applicant and she just did her biometric today, does it pose a threat to her visa application?

Not yet marked green on the website. I called UKVI about 4 weeks after her biometrics and I was told decision has been on the application. About an hour after my call, I got a mail confirming that decision has been made and that I should contact tls directly for the return of document. Now tls is saying they may not have been officially communicated to.

you need to wait for the pick up email from TLS.

What bloody return of document?!

Do you mean you cancelled the application?

I'm sorry but for a cancelled application she will need to go there physically to get this sorted.

If you didn't cancel it, just wait for the damned thing to turn green although you mentioned it's been since January so it might be taking a long while.

I know it seems a long time she did biometrics but Your calls and paid emails are just going for vanishing and serve to further disrupt the process by jinxing it. cheesy

Pls Don't do the work of the visa officer yourself
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Jannyfranc: 6:22am On Mar 05
It depends on the officer that reviewed your wife's document, I forgot to upload my conference invitation letter ,though is visit Visa but they still approved.
