When my grandpa was about to die my mum went to visit him on his sick bed but he told my mum to go back to her husband house and she should come back in d early morning of d next day.wen its around 5am d next day we saw my grandpa (who was unable to stand up from the sick bed a day b4)entering my mum room, I saw him though I was very young and my mum and my sisters saw him also but we could not take instead our heads was swelling and our body stiffed but we were conscious of what was happening around us. when the spirit left we all concluded that d old man has gone(dead). my mum stated running to her dad house but with surprise the old man was still alive but still on the bed as he was left yesterday, then my mum raised his head on her laps, the old man prayed for her and other siblings and he gave up.

when my younger brother died in 2006 in osun state, unknown to his girlfriend who was in lagos, the boy met her at iyana ipaja (he did work at iyana ipaja b4 he fell sick) and he gave her #500 and 4 pack of indomie the lady ate the indomie bt when the lady heard the information about his demise she could not believe it ,in fact she showed us the #500 naira and everybody saw it and the lady promise she will not spend the money. I know the money was with her till 2010...

I know one or two persons have heard about this before,do u really believe in Akudaya??

Hmm. I've heard about it, and my take on it is: "if the devil can be real...an 'Akudaya' can also be very real. However, what I can't fathom yet is why they happen.

Well this is africa, stuffs like this happen they say even in movies we see. my dad told me of one that happen to him, his close friend who died sometime ago. After months of his death, a mutual friend went to cotonu to buy furnitures, on getting there he saw the same dead guy, in a workshop working alongside some other people, he was the boss of the place same as when he was a alive.. The man came back home, called my dad, and they both went to cotonou, when he saw it with his own eyes, from distance studying, and was convinced he was the one, he came back to nigeria, and ask the wife and the son to follow him, and they all went to the place, on getting there, and the dead man seeing all of them, smile at them, and welcome them into the workshop, and he entered with them and he just called his son, and he parted the son on his head, and said' you have grown' all of them couldn't talk, he said his mouth was heavy , legs stiff, and the man stood up went outside the door, and was never seen again since then. After 3min my dad said he stood up and went outside and made enquiry and they said he said he wanted to buy something, and that was the end of it all never seen again. So I think it might actually be true, that's if the old man, didn't cook It up for me, because I asked him the same question when the story popped up. Also in our estate a man that carries touch at night anytime his walkn at night, slumped and died, my dad was sitting in the sitting room, and he was like he saw a shadow of sum1 lookn like the man with touch, and he called out to draw his attention, he said he stood up and went after the man, by d time he got there, nothing, the next morning, he heard the man has dead. So .... The mith may be true. And even in the bible if am right when jesus was dead he appeared to some people, am not a bible scholar so don't blame me if am wrong

Well in reality it look like especially someone else in different location say he/she did saw the person.But this is what happen,when a person dies especially in Islam ,the soul never return there is a barzakh'barrier' between the person and this life and that barrier can never be crossed.Infact a dieing soul has more to worry than those crying, because it going to face its lord and there it will stay before ressurection.The one u now see in this life is the jinn'unseen spirit' that has been with the dead soul right from birth to death of the soul.So it knows everytin about the dead soul.This is part of the knowledge of the unseen that only God almighty knows and only discloses it to whom he wills, Our Nabi kareem Salallahu Alaihi Wa Salam.

Its real, I heared of a man who died in a ghastly car accident on his way to Lagos from Ilorin!!

That same day, he went to pick his kids in school around 3pm....cooked lunch for them & wrote down a note for his wife to take care of the kids while he is away!!

The wife got a call around 3.30pm that her husband had died in a car crash around 10am in the morning!!!

Weird stories like this do happen, and only God knows the reason why!!

The point is that once one is dead is DEAD nothing like the person returns, just take away that believe.

For those that are dead and they are seeing maybe in another state/ country, it is their jinn they are seeing, You know jinn live more years than we human being some can live up to 3000 years or more

There are some stories of akudaya.

Akudaya is not real. It just a local believe.

I believe there is no connection between the living and the dead. like someone said earlier it's the handwork of Jinns playing on people's mind.

Jesus Christ died and rose again. His appearance was seen by lots of people. He did not appear when He died but when He resurrected.
