Hello house help me out. someone brought his fried srt4922A for revival, but all tactics employed to wake it up didn't yield fruitful results. The problem with the decoder is, when I switch it ON, no light shows, but when I switch it OFF, a yellowish-8 flashes but nothing shows on the Television. Please house,could this be a normal situation of a fried decoder? Those who have experience this problem before should please come to my aid. I have tried the channel up/power button holding method but it didn't work .

Cus multitv is my primary..i put amos below multitv..and also only jst one tp on my amos dat is green nd it does not go above 40% as at nw its on 35% d tp is 11008v30000...11884v27500 turns red sometyms its not stable

Bencoprof: tr¥ changing ur diseq from 1 to 4 frm ur diseq setings,then notice the 1 that has the highest %signal then blindscan,am sure u are not on the right port of the diseq just change them

Go to : (http://crosat.us/upload/index.php?&direction=0&order=mod&directory=Strong%20Receivers/Strong%20WIZKID%20Files/Strong%204%20Africa)
and download the file (SRT4669XII_7111_Intg_MyTV_317p_20140619.zip).

The file is in zip format and therefore you need to use WINRAR or 7ZIP,etc to extract (unzip) it after which you will now have a file with .stb file extension.

Copy the unzipped (i.e. the stb) file into virus-free usb flash drive.Attach the usb flash drive to your decoder.

Go to MENU => USB =>Data Transfer => FILE LIST.Select the folder and press OK.

After successful upgrade the receiver reboots on its own.

Rescan your MUTI TV using 12522V 27000-Auto.
