Fulaman198: This whole debate about Abo.ki is a disgrace. Do you know that if you guys went to Niger republic where 85% of the population can speak Hausa either as a first or second language and you called them 'Abo.ki' they would be pleased. The word in Nigeria has a negative connotation due to some bigots transliterating the word inappropriately. In the Hausa language, the word will always mean 'friend'.
