@purplekayc. Multi-lnb setup on a single dish is better.Alternatively,you can do a 3-in-1 motorized setup if you got the space.Much more better than littering the whole place with dishes.

@purplekayc. Here is the procedure:

1.Plug your Internet Modem on your laptop or desktop and connect to Internet.
Click start => Run.
Type ipconfig and click OK to open the Windows IP Configuration window.
Take note of the following:

Windows IP Configuration

Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection

Connection-specific DNS Suffix.:
IP Address...........................:192.168.130.80
Subnet Mask.........................:255.255.255.0
Default Gateway:

Note:192.168.130.80 is an example.

2.Now plug your internet modem into the receivers USB port.

3. Go to Menu => System settings => I.P settings on your decoder and you will see the following:

DHCP Usage: "ON"
IP Address: 0.0.0.0
Subnet Mask: 255.0.0.0
Gateway 0.0.0.0
Mac Address: 00.xxxxxxx

4.Press the red button on the RCU and wait. After some time, the decoder should automatically obtain I.P settings for you. But if that does not happen you will have to fill in the settings manually as follows:

DHCP Usage: OFF
IP Address: 192.168.130.80
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway : 192.168.130.0
DNS: 192.168.130.0
Mac Address: PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH THE MAC ADDRESS

4. Now go back to DHCP Usage and turn it ON once more.
Then exit and save.

Hello there.

Can anyone give me an idea why my IRIB VARESH disappears in the morning but at night is a solid 65%?

Update: Scratch that!

I found that my Amos 5 line/lnb was somehow disturbing the signal. I removed it from the diseq, and Varesh is now showing

Out of curiosity though, the question still stands: why does it show at night yet still but not in the day (with the bad line connected)?

-----------------

Also can anybody out there help me with an Amos 5 / Multi TV on one dish (60cm)? I can't get it to show and I have the 2-in-1 discovery LNB- Using Amos 5 as my primary. As it is now, I always have to go and physically move the dish up or down to switch between Amos 5 and Multi TV. I've read that it is possible and a couple of people said they have done it.

@chester1983. Nice setup.By the way that your space will be more than sufficient for 10 meter earth station.
