Uteghe: Its funny how a poor man is giving a rich man advice on how to make money, so in your own ignorant opinion you think they will forget to build a control tower. You and some Nigerians are ignorant bastards. 2 Likes |

That is a waste of funds for a state where good roads and electricity are needed. This project will not benefit the common man. |

Is the airport commissioned for use? Why are there no tangible pictures like aerial views, runways, control towers, hangers, boarding areas, social amenities in place etc. Some ordinary shopping plazas are finer and bigger than this pictures you're presenting. Please do a proper job and accurate information. |

Obiagelli: Relevant info: "Although the federal government cannot completely overwrite the total 15.5 billion naira committed to the Dutse international Airport project but we will try to support the expenditure robustly, more so because it was part of my campaign promise to the people that I was going to build new airports in the six geopolitical zones in the country", stressed the President. The cost is particularly relevant for comparison with similar projects in the country by the federal or state governments. |

nigerianvenom: Your enthusiasm and belief are admirable, just misplaced. 1. What economic importance is the airport to the people of Dutse and its environs. Will it positively impact their lives and lift them from the desert of poverty?? Or is it there to serve the polithiefians with private jets?? 2. I live and work abroad but travel home almost every month. I see objectively and can compare developments each time i visit. Pray educate me on these rapid developments!!! Is it the state of lawlessness where public office holders steal with impunity??!! Is the weakening of our government institutions where corruption has eaten the very foundation they lay on?? Is it the degrading power sector after all the privatization efforts?? Is is the still comatosed health sector where the average Nigerian still does not have access to basic medical facilities Is it the horrid state of insecurity pervading every environ?? Is it the dysfunctional transport sector?? Pray tell me.. !!! |

Rikidony: You know what Hilary Clinton said about Obama? She said, if Obama should walk on waters like Jesus did, Republicans will accuse him of inability to swim. Or perhaps, in my opinion they may accuse him of playing games with the law of physics. So for GEJ If he does he's damned if he doesn't he's still damned. I been say make I Woz you two and half Cameroonian slaps until I saw your profile photo, I no know when I slap myself instead. Ehee baby forget this politics nonsense, how we for take meet jare. No worry anyone way u wan make I vote I will vote. |

[size=13pt]Airports are not luxury but necessary infrastructure that drives growth and development. every state in Nigeria should have at least one airport. They don't have to break the state vault to do it. @ a budget of N 15b that jigawa state used in building this nice airport every state in Nigeria can afford to do same over time any serious governor can afford to build such within 4yrs-8yrs term no matter how poor the state is, consider that within 2 yrs of administration an average state executive in Nigeria steals/misappropriate more than that amount from their respective states. Citizens of state without and airport should demand this type of basic facility from their governors. think about cases of natural disasters that will require immediate evacuation or a medical emergency that requires immediate evacuation and you will know that airports are necessity. When will all these crape of regional airports we have everywhere in Nigeria that are called international airport stop. Based on my international experience and exposure, there is NO international airport in Nigeria just regional, two or less runways and single terminal airports. Nigerian leaders should go to Dubai to see what international airports look like, I didn't say go to Chad. |
