That is a waste of funds for a state where good roads and electricity are needed. This project will not benefit the common man.

Is the airport commissioned for use? Why are there no tangible pictures like aerial views, runways, control towers, hangers, boarding areas, social amenities in place etc. Some ordinary shopping plazas are finer and bigger than this pictures you're presenting. Please do a proper job and accurate information.

"Although the federal government cannot completely overwrite the total 15.5 billion naira committed to the Dutse international Airport project but we will try to support the expenditure robustly, more so because it was part of my campaign promise to the people that I was going to build new airports in the six geopolitical zones in the country", stressed the President.

He expressed gratitude for the development going on in the state which he said is in line with the transformation agenda of the government at the federal level and promised to continue to support the state.

“We have supported the state in the areas ecological fund, agriculture and education and I promise we ill continue to do more for the state,” promised the President.

President Jonathan said Jigawa state is the most peaceful state in Nigeria as it has less crime compared to other states especially the northern part of the nation.

"I thank the traditional intuition for their encouraging peace in jigawa because they are the closest to the people at the grassroots. They have preached peace and encouraged the people to follow the same. I also encourage youths in the state to do everything that will bring peace to the state and the nation in general."

The governor of Jigawa state, Sule Lamido said the airport is fully equipped with fire fighting equipments and modern tarred 3.5 kilometer runway capable of handling Boeing and jumbo aircrafts as well as air traffic control, customs and immigration facilities among others.

“In addition we have entered into a memorandum of understanding with overland air services to begin commercial flight three times in a week.”

These shiit,forgot to tell us about the over 130 special schools built specially for those abandoned kids in d north which they tagged "almajiris".
They all forget that,i as a person never saw a train in motion until GEJ made it possible.
They forgot to tell us that gej has built over 9 new federal universities in nigeria with about 6 of them bin in d north.
They forgot telling us that agriculture was looked down upon and people tend to view it as a job for the poor untill gej turns in to a gold mine.
These guys also forgot to tell us that my state,akwa ibom was once unheard of untill gej and Godswill akpabio came on board.
Nobody heard of jigawa,enugu and akwa ibom when development was bin discussed untill sule lamido,Godswill akpabio and sulivan chime came into power.

1. What economic importance is the airport to the people of Dutse and its environs. Will it positively impact their lives and lift them from the desert of poverty?? Or is it there to serve the polithiefians with private jets??

2. I live and work abroad but travel home almost every month. I see objectively and can compare developments each time i visit. Pray educate me on these rapid developments!!!
Is it the state of lawlessness where public office holders steal with impunity??!!
Is the weakening of our government institutions where corruption has eaten the very foundation they lay on??
Is it the degrading power sector after all the privatization efforts??
Is is the still comatosed health sector where the average Nigerian still does not have access to basic medical facilities
Is it the horrid state of insecurity pervading every environ??
Is it the dysfunctional transport sector??

When will all these crape of regional airports we have everywhere in Nigeria that are called international airport stop. Based on my international experience and exposure, there is NO international airport in Nigeria just regional, two or less runways and single terminal airports.
Nigerian leaders should go to Dubai to see what international airports look like, I didn't say go to Chad.
