Hello @ all in the house. Please , I plan applying for admission next year with both A' level and jamb utme ,is it advisable to choose u.I for both. What I mean is ,when a name comes out under utme (100 level list) can it disturb or prevent a persons name from being released with direct entry list (later into 200level). I humbly await your opinions before making up my mind and going for utme form. Thanks

I think it's better to choose different schools to avoid unnecessary sweat. The most important is that you're admitted through one of the two if you have what it takes. For now I don't know what would be obtainable

Poly with DISTINCTION applied to U.I and wasn't also gven admxn yet,he took d courage of going to d admxn office in U.i to ask for d failure of hs admxn afta meeting necessary requirements. D person in charge brougt out d list of d admitd candidates and anoda list showing dose candiadates dat applied wit dia various grades. Accordng hm,d list showd dat out of 15 candidates dat were admitd into dat dept.(CIVIL),14 of dem had Distinction(whc shows lots of competitivenez) and d remaining one had upper. He said d minimum point 4 d o'levl requirment is 22. He(my frnd) had 15,whereas d guy wit upper had 44(all togeda). Dn't knw wot he had in hs o'levl though,bt it has already bin shown dat he beat d O'levl requirment point(whc is 22). 4rm my own view,course applied for,ND/HND/A'levl/Bsc.grades,and O'levl grades are very important wen it comez to D.E admxn. I hope dis info wil help in 1 way or d oda.

*what will be on the depositors name when paying the #20 000 acceptance fee?
*as a DE candidate I do not have letter of invitation for post UTME screening exercise, jamb admission letter n UTME result slip, is that how it is for everybody or is there a site i can print them out from?
*the two letters of referee are to be addressed to who?
*are we to use white background for the ten passport photographs?
* a file, fine but with tag, what does that mean?

People should just forget about this 'list' and let's proceed with our lives. If you are not given admission today, u may get it on next trials if u don't relent. D only person whom UI should have just considered against all odds for admission is ME because of wat I've been thru...but since it hasn't worked dat way, it's for a reason...life just has to continue.

Lest I forget, my time here has given me d privilege to meet PERSONS that I would have loved to relate with one on one. People like Sigolisis, Adegab, Oluwooo, hormolorlah, hysobright, callmebeauty, shadexbabe, alaoabiodun, Gideonaire, Gbengem, brainwavy etcetera...but for d fact dat God knows best, we only propose...there's absolute decorum on this thread...so many mighty people have been affected badly.

Well, for those expecting any 2nd bash or 'worefa,' I pray your dream and what you solely aspire for won't be changed at the end of the day. If you used ND to apply for the D.E studying Computer Engineering why must that be changed to som'n you're an alien to all because 'I don't want to waste more time that's why I accepted what they gave.' Why not go back to your poly for HND where you will continue with your first love and your dream? PGD is there is you're bent on getting a degree. Just ma view.

* I think u maynt necessarily use 3wks{Nov 3-21} for it, it's just d duration for everything. U can use a day or few days so far u av d necessary documents.
* Ur jamb reg no & full name sud b written on teller just as d case of paying for d form
* Print ur jamb admission letter, buy jamb e-facility card for that.
* Address d letter of reference{letter headed paper} to d registrar
* White background is necessary for all passports
* You will get a file with tag @schl I think

Try to check again, d admission status info is there. I'v checked for others, it shows being admitted.

PGD is 3semesters, almost 1&half yr or less I think. U may proceed for Masters after dt.
